And we all - like kids with fairy tales - hope that evil will get kicked in the sack, mauled to death or disposed off somehow as reality taught us going the legal and noble way is a waste of time and effort. Absolutely agree. I hunt for stuff with substance: women issues in ancient China (Unveil, Dream of Splendor), jaw dropping cinematography and artistic license (finding pearls of completely unknown architecture like that in Fragments of Kylin or set that takes you there My Journey to You, or overall vision in Wuliang), music to humm for the rest of your life (One and Only, Shadow Love), actors who do wonders with their craft rather than just looking constipated or being a 5th grader (A Girl Inside Me, Your Royal Highness, Dominion and Devotion), innovative ideas (The Mirage, An Ancient Love Song), plot to enjoy (My Pink Prince, Royal Upstart) and historical load (The Secret of Three Kingdoms, Nothing Gold Can Stay). I drop nonsense without delay, perhaps that's the reason most of the titles on my Completed list are 7 or higher🤣🤣🤣
