yea, if you read or watched manga or even very enjoyable vd of the same title, you would not have that problem. but it's a bummer they changed the premise, but for a full length or even short drama they had to fill it up... oh well. I will wait until it finishes airing.

actually, it's around 7.75 for me because regardless of big budget, big names, meticulous production, it's not innovative enough and really doesn't force us to think or ponder. This is sorta what Hollywood calls blockbuster. Gives audience an easily digestible story they can link to current struggles of women and inequality in social strata - without provoking much of moral dilemma. It's enjoyable, but anything that ends on Netflix is overrated. Not disagreeing with folks who rate this higher than me, we all have preferences. This year only The Mirage deserved 10/10 IMHO for absolutely unique story, delivery and music.

it's fun to see talented and beloved actors who normally play leads in short, mini and micro dramas to be here in full blown, big budget production! Glad that they get recognition in full length with "stars" after being stars themselves. 😍💖👌

Yea, I don't know who is who out there other than our taste in dramas😄😄😄 that's the beauty of the specific sites. We don't agree on what is better: wuxia or fantasy or modern, as it's personal. I sometimes wonder why we folks from different backgrounds with different experiences choose to spend our time watching certain things. Don't even have a hypothesis other than longing. A universal human need for something that is missing. Some crave rollercoaster, some Merry go round, and some that pickle😉. Nothing wrong with eating it all your life without trying popcorn or baozi or poke. Only those who tried many things and can compare them can speak about their preferences. All others will forever know just one thing they are used to and never dare to conquer their own fear. 🤔

Yes, unfortunately for WXY he is now used to boost the rating even if the drama is so so. I hated Perfect Match. Poor guy could do so much with himself in any role and yet is completely underutilized for the most part. I loved his rendering of the ml in Your Sensibility My Destiny, could see both the no feel face (literally) and cute loving caring jealous etc dude as well. Starting to watch the one with Bai Lu. Like my heart throb Cheng Lei, WXY needs to smile more on the screen!
Yes, the entire trip to China was quite the adventure. Riding a bike on city wall in Xi'an was awesome. Shanghai felt like Chicago or New York and the food was scrumptious. I suffered because of the temperature (went in April after Qingming to avoid crowds) but it was incredible trip. I recommend any MAGA to go there.Will come back with the tails tucked under for recognition of how far behind the rest of the world USA had lagged and with the deer in the headlight shock of how much of what they considered greatest democracy had actually reverted to what China is doing
