and boy do I like it!!!! heck, I am putting all the post 2023 productions of this author/creator on my Plan to Watch because she was just amazing but I can't stomach old HK or Taiwan style of her dramas.this is solid 8 at ep 15

not a big fan of this genre but watching for ml. This cdrama makes another clear point that jianghu is rotten to the core thus proving my dislike😉

the actors played opposite gender really well and for majority of the episodes. refreshing 😁

I don't want to give away everything. I liked first half of the book but when the character of the lover dies and there is still 50 chapters to go and he had an alter ego or avatar , you can guess why😁 it's a HE so no worries. The book was just ok, hoping the drama will be better - sort of what happened with Shadow Love, the book covered only half of the drama content and the director/screenwriter made up a great love story with a kickass heroes in it.

o, boy, such a weak ending and the last 5 episodes were just a fiasco of otherwise great story and production

amazing story, fantastic characters, awesome dialogue, superb acting, great music and good cinematography and editing. how did I not watch it when it was airing???

No rebirth. Fl switches identity with an assassin to get her revenge. She joins paramilitary organization led by stone faced traitor who disguises himself as capable lover of fl and she falls for him while not interested in his somber public version. BTW he does it because he too wants revenge. Alas, she is forced by her nemesis to come out with her real identity and in the process her cute lover dies. The vengeance is rampart and the desperate fl (at time all brawn no brain) goes for self destruction...

As predicted by your comment: very good rendition of brilliantly written characters. The plot is nothing new but HOW they framed it was unbelievably believable 😆. After rewatch it is around 7.75 for me. I now remember what was the reason for looking up Glazed Beauty - the ml is really good. FL played great s well

Honestly, I don't remember since I watched it back in November while on VD spree (I think I watched 50 of them in a week😵‍💫 but I gave it 7.5 and a note to go back to it so guess what? I am rewatching it 😆

Yea, some people swear by giving it a chance in 10 episodes but I find the wife running home with spouse in her arms rather weak point and even if they share their secrets, sadly 😔 it is rather mundane...

me too. men baring children and secondary to women sounded good but it was choppy and ridiculously inconsistent. I would have liked it better if ml WAS treated like a girl or cross-dressing. oh well on to the next one 🫤
