well if they do that it will be a waste. ML is a typical Neandertal from feudal China while the reborn lady is a modern world transplant (very vaguely indicated in just a few places in the book), so I did not like the whole idea of a modern woman being a subject of marriage sexual violence. If she was a person raised in these times, then I can possibly see her being a lamb led to the slaughter. I am not sure I will watch it if it will be just cruel and physically abusive dude

it's funny how in the court a princess comes and declares with no evidence that the general should be executed on the spot because she thinks it's the right thing to do. Oy vey - these dramas are sometime such a waste of time! I would rather go to see Bound by Sin - probably equally dismal script but at least the FL from here and there is in a steamy bossy tangle with her body guard.

Don't watch Prisoner of Beauty or Lost you forever 😁 actually I just started watching and for a drama made 9 years ago it holds. The newer plots are accentuating fabulous looks whereas here at least some people love her for her personality.

I wonder how they going to adapt all the sexual violence from the novel to the screen? Very brave LYN to take such a horrible role!

I think ladies with purses left the building - no threat. But I hear you: watching the lead stumble and fall is no fun if there is no redemption/way out in sight. At this point I am just watching it with the attitude "this is not going to end well and I am here to just absorb the artistry of the drama" My favorite is of course music.
