on a positive note though, I didn't care abt The double (sorry don't k!ll me please) but here there is no yu zehng…
I totally agree with you on the director and The Double AND Beauty of Resilience (😂) Just saw the trailer here and OMG, I can't wait! BTW, love your profile name!
Lately there have been too many Cdramas with really heavy topics about revenge. I look forward to this food themed…
I am looking for a costume drama that does not focus on "reincarnation" 3 months-3years before the character's death, honor revenge stories with no common sense for the value of life, setting up business or gaining power (by women mostly), mistaken identity and endless misunderstandings of immature lovers, switching bodies/souls, criminal investigation, catfights in harem, wait, I ran out of all the old tropes! Actually, I am ok with any of the above as long as they are framed with good script and well-developed characters who can converse rather than endlessly gaze into each other. And yes, lighthearted and fun will do!
Ep 31 - everyone’s thinking the Fl is dumb for choosing to submit to QY but she is a person with low status…
I think that the drunk Han's despair and the comments from the commander she heard had that do-or-die impact on her. I really think that her feelings for the magistrate had more to do with her decision than her love of the people. She cares for what the man she loves cares about. Governor's son has kissed her and she slapped him, but even if she thought about it later, she treats him as a buddy with whom she investigated and the person who stepped in in that humiliating pipa concert, but I am not sure she really loves him. More like stands by him but knows her own circumstance and his family stance, and absolutely guards against falling in love.
But the synopsis is great. Anothe to add is it’s about politics. Haha
well, I wrote it the way I did to gain more viewership of general public. If there was anything about the politics- you know what people are looking for
so glad to see Ke Ying again (after Familiar Stranger, Supervisor Husband, Hard Noble Lady) matched with Liang Yong Qi (and he nailed Rong Qing in The Double!) and Lu Yu Xiao (after To Ship Someone, My Journey to You and Blossoms in Adversity). Getting popcorn and tissue ready!
Help I heard some weird news today, hope it's not true.. The number of episodes of XianYu will be reduced, not…
in 2023 China started putting cabash on longer series and officially enacted it in 2024. Look around and you will not see anything - modern, xianxia, wuxia, whatever - that is longer than 40 episodes from last year! None of the old things filmed years ago will be granted release of more than 40 in one season-see Legend of Taotie, Eternal Brotherhood and even Lost you Forever. And the broken up longer dramas (40+ episodes) have to have 12 months between s1 and 2 release date.
we try to be either respectful or civil about the characters as it takes a writer to craft such a role and an actor to make it alive. Thank you for your contribution,
Seriously I don’t think so. All throughout, we can see that she is not a person who is short sighted, selfish…
you know, I looked at the episode guide tab and it shows 3-5 people rating this 9+ since ep1. I have a feeling that the 3 of us here are the ones who did that. 😂❤️👍I sincerely hope either one of you considers starting to write a review to finish and post as soon as it ends. Only with your intelligent and valid observations can more people be enticed to watch and actually appreciate without goofy comments: they did not kiss or why did he not just follow his heart or she is so bad for going with the psycho. I am counting on you, people!!!!
this is such a brilliant script with literally no win-win situation for anybody! We are forced to take sides knowing…
soooo true! the trashy movies for trashy audience? I am glad to have found this. But like the Secret of the Three Kingdoms, it will find the crowd that will appreciate it.
