I honestly think this is very different. original. fun. Male scenes galore. Women are there but mostly as ornaments. The whole idea of story within a story with comic book per episode/case is novel and captivating and even if it is FL's plot, she is in a coma for all this time. And there is wisdom (what can you change even if you go back in time), mental illness as superpower, ML as action hero... This is going to be a trend-setter!

I am having a bit of difficulty with this artistic epoch placement. I even went to look for pictures from 1940s and 1950s of Shanghai and people's outfits - this drama is not consistent with 1950s look of people. In fact, it takes artistic license from what I know in the West to be 1970s, but given what was happening in fashion of PRC in the 1970s this still feels decadent and not what Mao's China was. So, I am sitting patiently thinking that like Curious Case of Benjamin Button it really does not matter what year it was - it is a comic book story of something unbelievable. But I like that it is mostly men stories and scenes.

His filmed body is there but another actor's face was exchanged for the now banned actor involved in scandal. Oh, how easy it will be to erase anyone from the media then! Never mind Zhang Zhe Han deletion from the movie world and industry links online! It will be literally wiping out us from existence.

I know, right???? This is going to be interesting no doubt. Will see how viewers will rate AI productions and how long it will take for AI to create the same stuff people have been creating to please majority of the audience. I am in for shorts and minis created with AI using real people as basis for CGI drama - don't want manga but people's images made to look like people.
