Title The Double
I enjoyed these two episodes, the way Jiang Li set everything up to get exactly what she wanted, genius! She got chosen to present the delegation, but was forced to play with the rest of the musicians. She used poor Shi je to get her solo, but got a duet. She got the duet with her ex-match but ended up manipulating everyone to drop out and make herself pitiable so she can end up playing with Shen Yu Rong.

It is great writing cause it is very smart but also not difficult to understand. A lot of the political stuff and business stuff in Chinese shows can be confusing cause they are most of the time used as filler but the writers did a great job. There aren't tooo many parts and people involved and it's easy to see the connection between everything.

Title The Double Spoiler
I need some clarification... in the exorcism bit, Jiang Li pretended to be Aunt Hu's daughter that was killed by Ji Shu Ran right? Everyone ended up believing that correct? So at this point, JSR is guilty for murdering Jiang Yue and wrongfully imprisoning Aunt Hu. However, what about everything else.

What about her relationship with the burnt guy (I forgot what his position was)? Did they find out the baby that died in her stomach was his (or was that a lie to make him kill Jiang Li)? He died in her arms in the middle of the road at night time, did that tell them anything?

Apparently they know that Jiang Li was falsely accused, we see this in her speech to her father and her grandmother's guilt. Was this revealed in between the two episodes? Like did all the secrets just spill out after Yue's death? They just believed everything she did then? Did something happen during the exorcism bit that I missed?

I liked the speeches she gave JSR and her Jiang Yun Bai, and her grandmother. I'm glad she told JSR the truth, it would make her go more insane. I'm even more glad her punishment is exactly like how Aunt Hu suffered, couldn't have a more perfect ending for her. Not forgiving JYB is the right call, that is what Jiang Li wanted, she said she would never forgive her father. I'm glad they didn't nice him just because he was kind after her return. I'm glad the grandmother also was given the cold shoulder kind of, she is a bystander, she didn't protect the family like she should.

Despite liking the conclusion of the Jiang Family, I wish I could've seen more of them falling apart. I want to see their faces when they found out she never pushed JSR, she tripped herself, and killed her own child to gain sympathy, a child that wasn't even JYB's. I was hoping for something grand, but that's just my preference.

Title The Double Spoiler
Jiang Li at the end was amazing, almost brought me to tears. It felt like it came out of no where, but I believe it was because she wanted Tong Er to leave before she could realize her grief. Tong Er said after she got stabbed she looks beautiful when she smiles. I guess she was holding her tears until a certain point, which was then.

I wont lie, I would've liked to see a little bit more of her expression during the actual scene of Tong Er saving her. I wish I saw more sadness and helpless crying from her, not just that jump scare of a scream LOL. However, that scene was so chaotic it would've been difficult, people being stabbed left and right. Those are just my favourite type of death scenes, where someone repeats their name over and over again, and are crying out in desperation, those hit the hardest.

I know everyone sad about Tong Er dying, I heard though it was because the actor is like 15 years old and gotta go back to school LOL so they killed off her character. I also think this is perfect way to get her old maid back beside her. She has been looking for her maid when she was Xue Fangfei, so with Tong Er gone, there is room for another person close to her.

I reallly enjoy these types of romances, it feels so mature! I love how they don't admit anything but they both know how they feel and how the other feels, that's why they can be open with their actions. Very little hesitancy in their actions too, like she can comfortably lie down in front of him. I'm a big fan of strangers to friends to lovers, so right now they're like friends that are crossing over the line. My favourite part is how she now has no issues being invited by him, probably will come a time when she looks forward to it. I can't wait to see them start taking bigger steps to each other!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that we didn't get a cliche bust open the door and save his wifey scene but I'm glad that she was saved by another woman, Ruoyao at that! I'm looking forward to more character development from her and their growing bond.

Should I wait until tomorrow guys or was the 1 enough to quench my thirst without a cliffhanger?
Yeah it ends nicely, no cliffhanger or anything

First of all, I'm glad you enjoyed watching it! If you need more clarification regarding the timeline and some…
Thank you for letting me know! I'll be sure to read it as I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing, its just hard for me to wrap my head around haha.

Yeah, I can see how it can cause a trigger, just thinking that the counting exercise they made didn't feel right haha.

Also, yeah I thought he was part of the band, cause how could he be so close to them. It's just he feels so separate from them. Like he didn't sing for his future nephew's birthday? Why are you buying their recording studio? I wish they broke down that part more, his fate aside from sol.

What a wonderful drama, I enjoyed it so much. Made me feel butterflies again lol! Kim Hye Yoon truly was the best choice for this, some moments could've come off as annoying or dumb but she makes the character very likeable. Byeon Woo Seok, haven't seen him in anything before, but I learned what a good character he is. He brought Sun Jae to life!! I'm going to miss this show.

I do have questions though.. SO SPOILERS BEYOND HERE! Did he really have depression? They don't really talk about it, how did she end up saving him? Just by asking him to stay alive till 2023? Just by being in his life for longer than she was? Because I don't know why he was depressed? Was it because of sol? Was it with his music, his passion died, the hate from fans? If so what was it, and how did Sol going back in time help him want to live longer. Also he looked like he hid one of the medication boxes, what was it, it wasn't brought back again.

At the end, when she went back and never interacted with him, did she live her whole life again!? Like every since the package scene? I swear she said when she finally came back she arrived 6 months ago.. What are the rules? How was she able to go back randomly? Other instances she went back more toward the future.. This time she went further back then she had before. How long did she stay there if not the whole 10+ years?

Also, her trauma with crosswalks. She was never hit at one, so why? I get it, its cars regardless, but it feels like they stretched it a little to add to her character. They must've done some counselling for her, but what is that close your eyes for 10 seconds and then walk.. That feels a little ridiculous as a method to help her get over her fear. Honestly, kind of dangerous! Is that how it is in the novel?

Another question about who he is in the final timeline. Is he part of eclipse? Why is bae in hyuk more famous then him if sun jae is the lead singer? Why would he have his sponsorship? It was smart of them to have sol say that, made me think he did not end up becoming a singer. Did he get the sponsorship because that was part of the problem he had with his group in the first timeline, that he was more famous than him? They made them equally as famous? Is he an actor? He said he would pay for eclipse's recording studio.. why?

I also want to share I wish they spoke more about her paralysis in her legs. To address the ableism, they could've had her advocate for a ramp or elevator in her office. Instead of always looking at people in wheelchairs longingly, felt kind of shallow in that regard.

These are just the few questions I had. Kindly ask that you please share if I might have missed something, or there is more clarity in the novel, or you share the same opinion as me! Thank you!!

These episodes were heavy... her poor father! My heart was actually breaking watching the scene, both actors did a phenomenal job. The poor old lady, what a disgusting death. I applaud this show for making these scenes. The way they depicted that one girl being raped in the brothel, the magistrate stabbing her fathers fingers... being eaten by a dog... As much as it hurts me, I respect a show that can make these bold moves. It makes the stakes feel real and scary.

I am very disappointed in how Magistrate Feng had such an easy ending. He only suffered from a stomachache, was…
I think its meant to hurt. Like we are no where near the top of the pyramid so even if you win, its not in the way you want. The way the Ye family lost a lot of money just to free themselves of Governor Tong. Like I don't know clearly, but I'm sure he got off that scot free.

I'm glad she at least stabbed that guy for everyone and he had pain, it satisfied me, but this was honestly the only way. They needed to kill him otherwise he would've given away info during interrogation, see how quickly he begged Jiang Li to stop. Maybe it had to do with pacing. The fact that he was killed literally RIGHT after. I think it would've been a stronger defeat if they took him and found him dead the next morning in a jail cell. At least have a night of success.

It sucks, but it will make the big win at the end more satisfying. I hope that the top g will get the crown knocked off their head and suffer horrendously. However, I'm afraid wanning just gonna have a jump off the cliff death, like she will kill herself cause she so prideful.

Ok, ok! The verdict is in! This drama is the BEST I have seen in a loong while. The pacing, the acting, the chemistry,…
No literally! The directing is fantastic, they've had some great shots. It feels very high quality! The pacing is great, I'm enjoying every sub plot like the exam and the ye family. They are the perfect length where it isn't draggy but it's enough for me to care about the result of the fight. Their relationship doesn't feel forced at all. The OST is gorgeous, fits every scene. They got cliches but they've like upgraded them so they aren't tacky or they've made them real (like the flower scene, the little girl was cringing lol). The acting, the FL is probably top 5 Chinese actresses I've seen. Every one is doing a wonderful job.

I like how the ml doesn't do everything for the fl, and lets her do her revenge by herself.
I also like conversely how she isn't a mary sue who wins every fight and doesn't ask/need/take help. They both feel human! I heard she is mary sue in the novel

Bro we were fed good today! Post-rain scene, changing clothes, flowers, protecting her, all of it!!

I can appreciate dramas where romance isn’t too heavy cause everything else such as plot, acting, ost can carry the show itself just fine. But… if you throw me a romance heavy episode, I’ll take it every time. They are also doing it so well, not forced at all, it feels so romantic.
