Thanks! I actually thought I had most of those on my list already... weird. I tried to add All Of Us Are dead and it's telling me it's already on my list.
wait who was mr gu calling at the end? hyunjin?? i dont rmb a hyunjin?
Someone called Hyeon-jin. But I don't see that name in the cast. I do see a "[Ji Hyeon Ah's boyfriend's mother] (Ep. 7, 11)" and a "[Ji Hyeon Ah's boyfriend] (Ep. 11)" which is why I guess I was confused. I'm guessing it's the guy that ran away with money(?)
Yeah like you said it does suck for the dads, but I feel like I always see this arch with parents. I feel like…
@Dennine - All of what you said! Adding this - Just because we parents do all the things we do for our children does not mean our children owe us anything. We can only hope we've given them enough stability, love and smarts to make it on their own. And when they don't we try to be there for them and support them. You know why? Because it's their lives and if we still care and want them to succeed, we never give up hope for them.
I'd also like to add that an abortion is not something that someone else should be deciding for you. It's so easy for someone to say "get an abortion" but they're not the ones who have to live with that decision for the rest of their lives, like having a child. I personally know someone who lived with the guilt for 20 yrs and on her death bed, she said "I can finally go meet my son". Can you imagine that?
I came from My Liberation Notes and I’ve heard people mentioned about this. I have watched 3 episodes but I’m…
I agree with alla_avomila. When you start this the characters are all just strangers to you, but the more episodes you watch, the more you learn about them and something will start to compel you to keep watching and hoping for them to feel better. The actors really sold this for me. I hadn't seen My Mister, I did try, but just couldn't get past the first episode. So many people loved it that I'll have to give it a go sometime in the near future. If you feel that this drama is a chore to watch then don't continue. I mean I would love for someone else to be added to the viewers who loved this, but there are so many more dramas out there waiting for you. Don't feel like you have to finish this one just because it was a hit for everyone else. Maybe the timing is off and you'll connect better in a year or so. (although I'd love for you to watch it and love it like I did lol)
Is there anyone else that just randomly starts singing "Quando Quando Quando" since they started this drama? I can't believe how catchy this song is lol.
Great list, I love so many on it! House of Flying Daggers was beautiful. The Boy Nextdoor got the same reactions (laugh & cringe) from me lol. There are also a few here I haven't seen yet, thanks for recommending them.
Disney subtitles suck, dramatic music, light switches on, echoing, gosh, it's so annoying.
Perhaps Disney has "Closed Caption" which is a little different from "Subtitles" "Closed captions are created to allow deaf and hard-of-hearing people to experience the video, so they includes background sounds and speaker changes. Subtitles assume the viewer hears the audio and as a result do not contain the background sounds or notifications for speaker changes." -

*I'm only up to episode 3 so far.

I'm currently also watching MLN and I think it's trying a little too hard.
