I have only seen a few eps of this drama, but it has reminded me of cdrama My Sunshine (2015). Especially the younger versions’ relationship.

Where to watch this with decent quality? Viki and Netflix don't have it in my area and kisskh has 360 p. Any better out there?

Worth watching for the ML

The Long Ballad is similar and has the same actors (though as ML and SFL so not a couple). I personally found it too boring, but it's very popular so you might like. You can also try General and I or The Princess Wei Young. My favorite historical dramas are fantasy, if that's okay for you I recommend Love Better Than Immortality.

Does anyone know which year this drama is supposed to be set in? Like what year is the culture and the fashion, technology etc. based on?

Oh no I didn't realized this is 5 seasons, I thought I could watch it in one evening...

I believe these are called minidramas, and I also wish there would be an easier way to search for new ones to watch! I liked Night of Love With You (funny) and Maid's Revenge (serious). Stick to the Script! (funny) was also entertaining. Some other minidramas I've seen that were not that good, but because of the length easy to binge, are A Familiar Stranger, Ex-Wife Stop and Mommy's Counterattack.

The romance starts somewhere around ep 10, but there are some misunderstandings and they get separated before officially becoming a couple. There is a time jump between eps 17-18, and after that when they meet again they soon become a couple. From then on their relationship is very good and solid, they will not break up. The ending is happy.

Very entertaining, binged it. Full of cliches but nicely done. Only real con is that all kisses are freeze frame kisses. Luckily there are a lot of scenes where their chemistry is shown other ways to make up for it.
