I dropped this after 17 eps, but have been wondering if it gets better. TMOPB and ELOD also have weak beginnings and great 2. and/or 3. arcs. Is someone here who did not like the first 17 eps of this one but loved it later?
Is there some place to watch this with both good video quality and the music? It doesn't have to be free. In YouTube they have cut the music from some scenes and in kisskh the video quality is low :/
I LOVE THIS DRAMA , does everyone have another recommandation that is close to this ? I would love to watch more…
If you are still looking for recommendations, I’d say Le Coup De Foudre and My Sunshine (2015). Both have youth + adulthood + problematic family background.
Yes it's worth it. This is the best xianxia of the past few years. There are no small plots, it was streamlined…
I have seen both lbfad and alp but they didn't make it to my favorites. Alp had a promising beginning and good maybe last ten(?) eps, but most of the series when they were not themselves just didn't move me. As for lbfad it was okay but it felt like it was intended for younger audience, maybe because both main characters were quite childish, and that something that would make me emotionally invested was missing. I do understand why people like them but I guess my taste is just different. Possibly similar to @shortcircuit :)
So was it worth it? I have been waiting for this to finish before I start watching, and reading the comments I don't know if I should start or not. I'm okay with the ending as long as the ride until then has not only downs but also ups, big emotions, interesting content - however I get easily bored with subplots where the mains are just running around solving small problems that have nothing to with the big plot, usually this happens during the mortal arc. Should I watch this?
After years of dropping this many times i finally finished it (still skipped some parts in latter episodes with…
I liked this drama, there were so many entertaining scenes, but the female lead's character is definitely a problem. I especially cringe when in one scene the young girl's mother says to the ML something like "Tong Nian's parents raised her right, she is just as a girl/woman is supposed to be"...
Thank you everyone! It might be that this is not my type of drama, but some of my favorite xianxia have had boring…
This is his real voice? Wow, I did not know that. It does make me feel better about it. I love angst and heavy plots, but also enjoy many comedies - and then just do not enjoy others. Sometimes it's hard to understand even for myself why. Like I love Dear Herbal Lord and keep putting General's Lady on hold, even though both are very similar genres and General's Lady has much higher score on MDL.
