I know that Yan and Nan Feng are meant to be the second couple, but for me the real second couple is Dai Duo and Shan Shan.

If Yi Ming is such an embarrassment to his sister, why hasn't she done something about it? I will qualify that question with an acknowledgement that we have not seen enough of their family dynamics, so it is entirely possible (likely) that he is the favoured child due to his gender, and she cannot go against him.

I hope you are right about this (see my comment above). And, I will re-watch the golf scenes as I missed the smile.

On a personal level, I will be forever grateful that my mother-in-law was not like this character. She welcomed me (a European) into her daughter's Hong Kong Chinese family with open arms. [Perhaps my experience is why I find the domineering, controlling parent trope so annoying.]

I forgot to add what I would like to see:
Her mother (and father) realising that she has talent as an artist, and encouraging her
Her mother getting her lawyers to metaphorically bury the sleazy company owner
Not a lot of time expended on the rivalry between the cartoonists and have it resolved fairly quickly [probably very much wishful thinking, but...]

What I have liked so far:
The camaraderie between the main group. Nice to see a group of people be at ease with themselves and each other.
The naughty streak of Wei Zhi. It is good to see a female lead with imagination and willingness to use it.
The scenery.
The connection between the leads.

What I do not like:
The usual mother who must control her daughter's life, including who she marries
The annoying, stalker-like third wheel.

Probably not until towards the end. I suspect that the denouement will not happen until the competition when their respective snowboarding cartoons are unveiled.

I completely agree. The guy has (allegedly) been studying in Germany for many years, but expects Wei Zhi to swoon and fall into his arms the moment he comes back. Unfortunately, the "stalker-like" third wheel seems to be a regular theme (trope).

The opening of Ep 2 has the "voice over" by her best friend where she is described as 36-years-old.

I have to watch the two episodes again because I thought there was an error with the age of Kim Mi Gyeong. At one point, she was said to be 46-years-old, which I found weird given that the actor is only 31. And later on, I thought I heard/read that she was 35-years-old.

I started this drama last weekend and have got to episode 10. As others have noted, the 2ML is troubling. The comments written below reminded me of the 2ML in Love Scenery. Both characters exhibit stalker activities. I get that the writers and producers want to portray the FL as someone who is highly desirable. However, these two characters go beyond what should be considered acceptable.

Given that Xu Lu plays the FL in both programmes, I have ask who is advising her to take the roles and why she would do so?

I know that Yin Mo (Chen Bo Lin) and Hai Nuo (Puff Kuo) were the lead characters, but for me, it is Shu Man (Hong Hui fang) is the key character in the story, as she holds everything together.

Out of curiosity, doe anyone know if the artwork by Xu Man was real (by an artist)? Or was it just created for the show? I am hoping or the former as I would love to see more.

It is clearly product placement. He is looking to expand his business through franchising in different countries. 🤣

Perhaps it was because I recently re-watched it, but I saw similarities with The Good Detective (https://kisskh.at/51853-silence) in the first episode. I will hold off on saying too much now, except to say that there are at least 3 significant common elements that I see, so far.

Just in case anyone is worried, I really love The Good Detective.

I need to find my own vent (literal and metaphorical) location. What really made the scene for me was that others heard her and knew it was her.

Wow, what a first episode. I came across this programme by accident while scanning for something to watch. The title caught my attention immediately, and I am so glad that I stopped to watch.

Now I will be on tenterhooks for the next week for the next episode. The ending today had a twist and I want to see if I am correct in my thoughts.
