Still basking in Chen Feiyu’s acting . Finishing up L&P . Yeah I still have to watch that one and Yang yang’s new drama. Yang Zi’s drama looks interesting. I may try that out

Finally done! A 9/10 for me! It was very entertaining with all the right elements! Loved it!
I think the leads had acted very well. IU was fantastic and her character was written well. I also loved the Queen mother’s portrayal. She was a very strong actress.

This one needed 16 episodes. I am loving Episode 12! How power hungry is that PM? He was quietly manipulating the royal family. For a woman that shit did all this 🙄. What can I say? Was it really worth it? Yep dissolving the royal family is actually the right thing to do given this scenario.

The war was not his obsession . It was his duty and path in life. That was entrusted to him by the emperor . He can’t just drop all that and go off to chase a woman in a different realm. They both had their responsibilities given who they are. I actually liked that part. It was an equal relationship. And they had genuine respect for each other . He loved a queen from a different realm- of course he knew that they couldn’t be beside each other always. Plus Duan Xu would not have survived if he went to the spirit realm. Also why would he abandon his soldiers and leave like that? They were not trying to portray that kind of relationship here at all where the ML was so obsessed with the FL that he would drop everything beyond reason and she was not weak and did not have that expectation of him. He had a duty and responsibility that he needed to uphold for his country just like she had her own responsibilities

I think the ML is a good actor and his performance has improved quite a bit since e Lovely Runner.

The story is great! It’s fiction - a good fiction needs to be entertaining and this one is. What bad script??? I think the story is very interesting , the romance is good, there is some intrigue/ thriller elements . And the aesthetics are good. All the actors have performed well. To me that is a wholesome enjoyable drama.
