Agreed. ML is who he says he is - a ruthless business man and very transparent about it . In fact that is what the FL admires and like about him. And yes he has not harmed her in any way. A lot of how things turned out at. Botticelli was her fault and also her mom and BF ‘s fault. THE ML just took advantage of the situation and got what he wanted. Can’t blame him for that

Well her daughter justifies everythin mg the mom does too. It’s a really screwed up family. The FL is a contradiction - outside at her job she does not put up with any kind of corruption or manipulation. At home her mom is her biggest manipulator and she puts up with it and finds reasons to justify it

Just watching 15 - does this mom have no self respect or shame. This shamelessness of hers is very degrading to her daughter . Is it so important to get her daughter married into that nasty family? Does she not realize that she is ruining her life?

Yes agreed - for an almost 30 yr old with a steady job and savings to live with her parents is a little much . The FL definite is too complicit with everything her mom does - including interfering with her job. It’s amazing how she finds excuses to justify that behavior. It’s astonishing that she is not fired yet. She did get demoted though as a consequence

Have to wait and see. So far enjoying it. I don’t think he is destroying her professionally. There weee a few things she did that was not professional and her BF’s family interfered too much . No one puts up with that stuff

Don’t know what these comments are about Xu Kai being support rather than a main character but the drama is about they are both making each other grow. They are each playing a role in the evolution of their character. So yes it is mainly focused on them. He is definitely plying a role in her emotional and professional development and she is drawing out a better side of him. That is what I see happening in the drama and it is done very well

Really loving this drama and nice character growth of the leads. The characters are very well written. Good story ! This drama so far is a 9 for me

Episode 7- did she just shout out her password? How stupid is she? And the mom- is there no limit to her greed? After everything that happened what the hell is she doing. And I feel bad for the brother. This mom is ruining everything

I am not that far along as others. But in ep 3 the way the BF gate crashes her work campaign was way out of line. That guy really does not respect her. I don’t like her mom pressuring her to marry that guy. He is just awful- very unreliable and disrespectful. I feel like the mom just wants that rich son in law which does not really make it better.

So the FL is a pathetic push over. She is like a football that everybody can just kick around. The boyfriend and his family are a real piece of work. She did not even get lucky with the parents LOL or her boss at work LOL- let’s see what’re this goes. Right now it is. a 6.5 for me
