Blind obedience is never good. You can’t agree to everything no matter how wrong it is. What MCH said to her mom was right and she deserved it. Everyone has a limit and I think MCH has put up with enough. The mom was wrong when she went and interrupted that meeting. That was totally disrespectful because she forgot that her daughter was working and had to maintain a professional stance. She totally undermined and disrespected every single thing her daughter wea working hard for. There is no listening or understanding there. All she was what’s for her daughter is to get rich and get married but has she ever asked her daughter what she wants and given her what she needs. The mom just wants her daughter to revolve around her needs and wishes and that is not how the adult world works

I feel bad for MCH’s friend as well. The poor girl can’t even have her own life and see her kid after divorce . That ex is a real piece of work .

Yes that makes it even worse because he is already there to undermine her and the mom and her relatives add to all that is going on - to undermine her capabilities even more. It is not a good situation at all. I feel for MCH.

As of ep 28 the daughter thinks it is all her fault and that she does not measure up to the mom’s expectations no matter what she does. And that is what happens. What the mom is doing is killing every bit of the daughter’s self confidence and dignity. Why because yes the mother is the most important factor that gives a child that sense of security and confidence . So what the mom is doing is wrong.

Please don’t blame the kids. I am a parent too . This mom’s behavior is not normal. She really needs to back off and give her daughter space . She is almost 30 and there is no breathing room there . Not even in her professional life

So the mom causes her daughter to be disrespected at that meeting at work and then says her daughter showed he rwho is boss! Honestly I can’t stand this mom anymore. Given what her family (mom and her relatives) has been doing to her while she is managing that hotel- I am not surprised that one employee speaks to her like that. MCH does need to set boundaries even more - this is not working. Also she needs to fire that one employee who insults her every single time

Exactly - she ignores that son completely- he is like a fly on the wall for her. While she suffocates her daughter in the name of love and care. Both extremes are wrong . The mom really needs mental help at this point. I know that this is an unpopular opinion here but to me her behavior is pathological and obsessive. She never admits or learns from her mistakes. Granted she may have had a hard life etc etc but did the kids not live with their parents and adjust and compromise while growing up. These two kids seem to have suppressed a lot as far as this mom is concerned. This is not being a parent at all. Interfering in personal life a work, not supporting them and standing by them when they are bullied? She should be happy they are still there for her- anyone else treated like that in real life would have cut off all contact .

But I still can’t justify any of her behaviors. Just because you have been around longer does not mean you can do that to your adult kids

Wow! Are her relatives for real? Those freeloaders left that hotel room in that state? And said all those things? Poor MCH never gets a break as far as her family is concerned

And that whole sequence where mom thinks there are rats on the balcony and wants her husband to buy rat poison

Yes the mom is frustrating but she is the catalyst for this story. She pretty much drives the FL ‘s character arc and to some extent the brother’s as well. All in all an amazing drama with fantastic leads. I have rated it a 9 and stand by it
