Gu Yanxi is very wishy washy with HZ though. He head not promised her anything. I don’t like his character that much . She loves him unconditionally but he is a very complicated guy who can’t commit.

Some people here are also justifying the mom’s actions as caring. But I disagree. Just like how kids are always expected to be respectful and care for their parents’ feelings- parents should also give kids the space they need and be respectful of their choices especially after they become an adult and are independent. What the mom has done is the contrary. She does not respect her daughter who does som much for them. She just takes her for granted and just sucks everything out of her. None of this can be justified and I won’t .

I like YZM’s character - what you see is what you get - both good and evil. And you can see how much he respects the FL
