Finally caught up on the episodes and this drama is getting better and better . I am really enjoying Song Wei Long playing Chen Yi. Such a conflicted , complex character! And their chemistry is sizzling!

Yes her self esteem would have hit rock bottom and she would not have been able to achieve even a fraction of what she did with Lin Yusen . This is a great lesson for young women - falling for the wrong guy has such a ripple effect

I totally agree with you I found all the details about the solar industry very interesting too. The attention to detail was incredible and the characters were quite real. I think it was good that they showed the future and what they had achieved as a couple . It tied up the story well. But the SML was definitely stuck in a certain place. This kind of relationship growth is always refreshing to watch

But that grey character was authentic in the novel. And they should have kept some of that . And not shied away from it .

Well all this was way more complicated in the novel. Eve how much they showed about what happened to her after mom leaves. She basically starves to death almost. They have diluted the level of neglect. He does not care for her for a while . He always oscillate between being nice to her and neglecting her . He is pretty much a street thug in the novel. But I don’t blame him for who he was because he only lived what he learnt early on in life . They have made him much nicer and caring in the drama. The way they come together in the novel was way more impactful .

Yes they cleaned him up for the drama for sure .

He is actually much more darker and flawed in the novel . I wish they had kept some of those aspects

The ending credit song is nice

This one has a good start- watched 3 episodes. Both their parents are awful. They are both neglected and abused kids at this point who are trying to find their way in this mess. I am going to wait to rate it. But it’s definitely higher than this MDL rating

It was a little disjointed. And the final episodes were draggy when they were just crossing each other - which was ridiculous. If she has his number she could have called 🙄

lol! I am at the scene where Lin Yusen is looking at the lobster and he is going - I am trying to figure out how this thing is put together 😂😂😂. Seriously it is one of the best scenes in this drama
