Ugh the PM needs to get a life. Is he going to go after a married woman now ? He had all the time to confess but he did crap and it never looked like she was interested in him any way ever!

It was his idea. She'd only mentioned it in passing, he's the one who said they should write one up.
I guess - we knew it was trouble whey it came up.

This queen mother is just too interfering and controlling in the prince’s life . It’s just disgusting

Well watching ep 7. And I am looking at the PM turning dark. The fact that he knows about the contract makes me very uncomfortable. I guess the ML is seeing more things that FL is. The FL is blindsided when it comes to the PM. She needs to put her guard up

She was never the ML’s puppet. He always wanted her to do what she wanted. He mom was very controlling - not Li Xun. Like I said her character is grossly misunderstood. Both of them meant way more than just mere lovers to each other. Their bond was so strong and there was a lot of trust and loyalty between them. Li Xun never looked down on Zhu Yun - not even once. And he was neither toxic nor misogynistic- he was a product of his upbringing.

I think you misunderstood her . She actually found her identity through the ML. Till she met him , she was her mom’s puppet, her life was just laid out for her that she had to just follow. The ML actually opened her mind and she grew naturally and became more independent. He was pushing her away because he knew how messy his life was but he really loved her and wanted to protect her. And she was determined not to lose him- she was actually very strong

Good to see I am not the only one. I was so confused and frustrated, as well. it make me not want to continue…
I advise watching all the episodes if you really want to understand the characters and the story

I am watching this drama again and it is as good as the first time. Every time I watch it I learn more about the character dynamics and how it led to what happened in the story. A true masterpiece!
For example : the first presentation, that Gao and Zhu Yun are doing. They get such a reality check when Li Xun saves them and they win the bid. This is where I am realizing that Li Xun is a much bigger team player and looks at the big picture. Gao only worries about his humiliation but Li Xun is making sure that the base survives and the students there don’t get affected. Yes he cannot express himself well and came across as a rude sociopath but deep inside he cared. And he did not stand there and boast that ‘he did it’

The best drama to watch after Love Beyond the Grave. Made me so nostalgic!

I am starting to as well. How blind are they to say there is no chemistry? And is the so called ‘age gap’ -is it even an issue in this day and age??? Yep narrow minded and insular are the right terms

He definitely brought a lot of sunshine and warmth to Love in the 1970s . I watched that drama solely for him

No one felt chemistry in ERL. I like his chemistry with Jing Yi, Dilraba and Ying Lu . With these 3 there was intensity - each a different kind

I like it but it's a bit repetitive you know?Like the people come fight sima jiao and almost get him caged up…
I did not find it repetitive. Yeah they were trying to get him but he was doing everything he wanted to accomplish.

Title Lady Liberty
The fact that an editor is sleeping with her author is more wrong in all sorts of ways.
I think she gets too close to her authors. That is her folly- it is going to repeat with Gu Yan - but it will be one sided from his side

Title Lady Liberty
The ML might be right about the collaboration between Gu Yan and FL ending badly. I think she should set some boundaries between herself and her authors.
But then the ML does not have many boundaries either 😂😂😂. He is too friendly with every woman he meets🙄
