I didn't read the novel but I really like You Shulang doesn't seem like a pushover as it often happen when they are paired with a character like Fan Xiao.

FOMO isn't a Drama, it just mean he keep watching in case he miss something that could actually be good - and be left behind. It's like some people who can't drop a drama - even if they hate it - since they started it as they cannot left thing unfinished.

Quite cynical if you ask me. Lot of people get lied by their partner they trusted. Are they all dumb or it's just that they were genuine and wrongly guessed that peoples would be like them ? That being said, if you are in a toxic relationship - and this guys was toxic waste - it's quite likely that you cannot get out of their clutch completely alone. You will need your family or friend to snap out of it, probably therapy is fix what was broken and contact authority if needed. Here, it's a romance drama so yeah, the support system is the love interest.

Both characters are flawed in relationship and both would be actually be exhausting. Like you said, Shirasaki is deeply insecure but he also hates to rely on someone. He also idealize way too much Asami.

As for Asami, it's hard to describe, but I feel he is overly cautious. Not just with Shirasaki, but with everyone. He seems to try to fade in the background sometime - a bit ironic for a celebrity. My guess it's that he have abandonment issue & try to please everyone even if it hurt him in the process.

Anyway, both of them have unhealthily behavior but in the end, they are still here for each other. It's what I really like about them. It's just a little bit harder for Shirasaki to help Asami as he just don't say anything and when he is interrogated he would just say "I'm fine" over & over. :P

I loved this drama but it really isn't the same here:

- Banjong did it twice. He poisoned him then tried to shoot him.
- It wasn't that "noble". He didn't do it for "saving" the country, they killed him because he accidentally stab someone and was labelled as traitor (mostly because he was of noble birth & his father).
- He was forgiven WAAAAAY too easily. They brushed off like it was nothing and he didn't suffer any consequence.

For me, this arc was just badly written and didn't make much sense.

As for Pheem, he is clearly a anti-hero. He is flawed & twisted. In the drama it's clearly shown that what he did isn't right. Than didn't forgive right away (it doesn't seems to be the case in the next episode either) & even his own Aunt condemn him. The writing in this part is way better.

The first story was cute but the second one was cute AND hilarious. So far this anthology is really good!

Didn't expect to see a BL "Avatar the Last Airbender" shipping Aang & Zuko but here we are! :P

It's pretty good. A bit raw & unpolished but somewhat original at least & the acting is decent for new faces. The only thing that irk me a bit is how they made those add quite intrusive & boring. Yeah, it's free on Youtube so they need the money but they really put no effort in them to make them at least a bit entertaining.

Not one but multiple high school girls killed themselves. They did that to mimic one of the trending transmigrator drama airing at that time where the FL died and went to "another world" & find happiness.

Personally, the issue was more about their mental health than the drama itself but it's hard to not respond when so many died partly because of it.

So far, they are pretty good at not revealing the ML. Well, Cafe Guy is already eliminated. I really don't see him as end game. So it's between Childhood Friend & Team Leader. But I cannot really tell who is it between the two. CF seems likely but TL was introduced first. Also, the weird vibe between CF & CG could hint to a happy ending with two actual couples. Or it's just my wishful thinking. :P

Other than that, it's cute & all of them are handsome. I don't really expect this to be a groundbreaking drama as it will probably one of those good enough to pass a great time but not really memorable ? :)

Thank for the input! I really hesitated to start this as like you, I didn't really enjoyed their part in "We Are". They weren't bad but not enough to keep me interested. But you give me the push to try this one!

The whole "It was a dream" is just censorship. China cannot have regression/time travel/transmigrator stories on live TV because of a previous scandal without this line. Like I truly understand why they made this - it was tragic - but god, I hope someday a writer will come up with a better twist. It really get old to have all those stories having the same "ending" as it really make the whole thing lazy. That or it's mandatory to use the same exact plot. If it's the latter, it's quite annoying. ^^'

It's quite rare that a season 2 is as good (or even more) than the former season. So personally I really didn't expect much - too much disappointment in the past - but so far it's really good!

The main leads are just so cute & precious, I just want to pinch their cheek like an old lady. xD

The side character are also quite awesome too. I really like they have all different background, personality & even their age gaps is refreshing to see in a "friend group". So yeah, so far, I love this Drama!

He have his reason for doing that, so yeah, keep watching and you will know why. But it will probably not be what you will expect. ^^

It's a common trope for Emperors (or people with great responsibility) to act as a Ruler before being a Father. It's mainly to highlight their "responsibility" - even if they show that they actually care in secret about their children.

As for this Drama, I don't want to spoil but keep going and you will be surprised. :)

Suige was maybe the God of Death but Yixiao was on an another level. She literally destroyed the Sun with her bow in the end! :D

Ngl, it's the third "Female General" C-Drama this summer, so I was a "bit" afraid of being somewhat bored but no, it was just this good. The characters in here where so well written, even the Childish & Naïve Princess that really irk me the wrong way in the beginning had some characters growth you don't often seen with side characters. I didn't see coming this arc with the Emperor - but I was gladly surprised.

A lot of villains but none were the stereotypical "Villain" that was just hungry for power or just plain evil. They all had their backstory and "understandable" reason as to why they acted or became like this. It truly show that Evil isn't born, it's made.

But what truly make me very happy, is that for ONCE the "Female General" didn't suddenly becoming the usual Damsel-in-Distress that ML need to keep saving again & again - because of the romance. If anything, ML was the one that needed saving from her. It was quite refreshing.

The OST was also really beautiful (especially the song with the lyric "Don't cry") & really like the choice they made with the "theatrical" voice echo to make the punch line harder.

Anyway, so many good thing about this drama & I loved every moment of it. I never given genuine 10/10 - most of the time it's for Drama I think are underrated - but this one deserve it in my opinion. 10/10.

Ngl, the princess is the typical characters I don't like. Plain stupidity but not in a cute way. I don't know if Jingshi care about her or not but if she would actively obstruct his plan, he will just kill her without thinking. He already did that to FL and he had every reason to not do it.

So the Emperor is trash, he is trash, the Princess needed that slap tbh BUT at least I hope they will entertain me with some twisted wattpad "romance" story. :D

Yes it was also my guess. "Oh, it will soon be over" but then a saw there are still 10 episodes left.

It was really sweet. I was always smiling while watching it. But it will also be quite forgettable. Anyway, still recommend it as it's quite the easy watch (short & dramaless).

Don't know why you are so biased but if you used the same argument on every religion, they would also be all pure evil. It isn't the case for Christianity as it isn't the case for Islam.

The 10000 protestant killed were just ONE example. Many peoples were killed in the name of various religions. You named a few more against Islam. But it only prove my point if you really study the case you speak of. They distort faith and weaponized it for their purpose. Like it was made countless time in the past.

So saying "Islam is pure evil" is just plain stupidity and show that you have no deeper knowledge of what you are talking about & I don't think you are interested at understanding it either as it wouldn't fit the narrative you try to push for some reason.
