I am relieved to not see a product placement every other scene, as those moments always cheapen the series for…
They are a necessary evil as some really need that extra funding to be made. And yeah, they aren't as subtle as western media but I wouldn't bite the hand that feed us either - especially when they are freely broadcasted in platform like youtube.

Just to be sure, they translated their title as "Prince" but they are just basically what we would call regular nobility, right ? Because at first I believed his dad was some sort of king but it doesn't seem to fit. :o

I think he was reassuring himself because he felt guilty (because he knows he crossed the line).
To explain why he had sex with him & not to read into it. Some sort of damage control I would say.

Just bouncing on the guilty pleasure comment. Most peoples just enjoy the fantasy not the act itself and will still be revolted if it would happen live before them. Fantasy are just that, product of the mind to entertain itself.

For the censorship, simple: This doesn't need to pass any kind of censor from the Chinese government because of a technicality and isn't broadcasted by Chinese company.

As for the power unbalance, rape, drugged sex, forced relationship, violence, abuse, etc... This type of theme are FILLED in short C-Drama and vertical one. Not really a C-BL thing here either.

So yeah, if you are uncomfortable with it, it's probably not for you - and also avoid some of their short & vertical dramas like I said.

And yes usually, the abused stand for himself & the abuser "love interest" show remorse in the end. But yeah, this kind of toxic relationship are still romanticized. A kind of guilty pleasure I would say. And sure, some probably shouldn't watch those but in the end, some responsibilities are still in the viewer side.

Well... I read some comment before starting it so my expectation weren't really high but tbh, I liked it. Sure, it does have some plot hole but it wasn't as jarring as some peoples seemed to imply. Or maybe is it because I was warned ? Don't know.

Regardless, I had a really good time. The cast were true eye-candies but their acting wasn't lacking either for what I believe to be rookie actors for the most part. Those fighting scenes were also quite well done for a BL in the lower budget.

The pacing is good, I didn't see obvious issue with the editing and this have quite a lot of interesting plot twist & cliff-hanger that made you want to binge the whole thing - as I did.

So yeah... Maybe because my expectations were kind of low it made me like this more than I should. Overall, I was pleasantly surprise by its overall quality. Recent K-BLs have been quite disappointing tbh - except a few exceptions - so maybe it also worked in its favor. 8.5/10

And can we talk about the CGI for those "meteors" ? Is it just me or they would just completely miss the earth ? Or if anything they don't seem to be crashing into them... Was it just badly made or it was all along a hoax like students said in school ?

Wait, guys! I've seen all the episodes of this series, but why are people talking about time traveling? I don't…
It's because of the last scene. Some say it's a flashback, some say it's MC traveling into the past because of the wish/meteor thingy.

They didn't care to make it clear so believe whatever fit you.

First time I'm this invested in the drama in a drama. :O

Fang Chi & Gao Zhun story is twisted in a way I like. Especially since Gao Zhun while deeply traumatized isn't that innocent when it come to Fang Chi as he consciously use his vulnerability to lure him. ^^

Do you guys think they can realistically end up in a romantic relationship after everything that’s happened?I…
Well, trauma bounding is one of the best matchmaker in Dramaland. And yes, I also think the father was innocent. Firstly, he always claimed his innocence. Then, the prosecutor that doubted and searched the truth behind this case years after "suddenly" died. And lastly, that drunk woman linked to the Casino is so nasty that I don't believe her or her relative aren't related to everything that currently happen (them gaining the biding and the most recent drug case).

i have doubt, does chaeha thinks his father was a murderer or innocent cause he said he is not like his father…
He just doesn't know and aren't sure of anything. He even have recurent nightmare where he see his father killing the victim. But while evidences all point out to his father being a murderer, his father always claimed his innocence. So he probably want to believe it. As for "not being like his father" is mostly because everyone think his father is a murderer. It isn't to prove himself that he isn't like his father but for everyone else that judge him because he is "a murderer's son" (as he cannot prove that his father isn't yet).

WTF..? "Lost to You" was good in the first half. But they completely lost me - pun intended - in the second half. They just threw logic in the trashcan and went with everything that went into their head. And yeah the ending. I just didn't understand at all until a read some comment here. It was just badly made.

Like some peoples said before, it just... end. I wouldn't even call this an Open Ending as it just left you in total confused state, searching after if you missed a scene in the end or if it would be a 13ep drama instead of 12. Maybe even a second season ? But no. Nothing like that. Like I said, it just end. ^^'

Ngl, it was one of the worse ending I saw.

The first half would be a 8.5/10 for me but it dropped to 5.5/10 near the end. To many wtf moment that make laugh when I shouldn't, some lines and scenes became waaay too cringey for my taste and yeah again, the ending was just the icing on the cake.

I should really stop reading C-Dramas synopsis, I feel they spoil the whole plot instead of just establishing the premise... :x

It's not called "emotional transference" as yes, I did find "transference" when I looked up and it's somewhat what you describe. After seeing the trailer like someone said before, it seems just she will feel exactly what the ML will feel currently - they even say it's like mind reading for some reason. Not sure what's all this is about but we will have to see the drama for the answer. :)

Does anyone know what they meant by "emotional transference" ? I googled it and it's apparently a made up term for this drama. Funnily enough by searching it I found a webtoon named "Transference" that seems to have a really similar plot:

"Su-a, a college freshman in Creative Writing, struggles to understand and express her emotions, leaving her isolated from those around her. When she meets Taeyang, a second-year Sports Coaching student who can sense emotions through touch, their unexpected connection sparks a journey of discovery. Paired for a class assignment that involves a "date," their bond deepens. This is a story about a man who feels too much and a woman who feels too little, and their journey toward emotional growth."

This drama doesn't say it came from anything (no source linked) so I assume it's a original work but yeah, it seems really similar to me except their age and job. Anyway, does this "emotional transference" is also made touch or their will just be linked somewhat ? Or neither of those ?

I don't find any issue with a woman proposing to a man. It should be more normalized tbh and by that I just mean…
Yeah... If you only apply those believe to yourself it's completely fine. If a woman want to be pursued and want to be proposed, it's her right. I just have a hard time to understand why a woman who want to pursue her own goal should be judged for it.

As for "it's just ends up in a disaster for her", the issue isn't that she would be active but more about the unbalance in the relationship. The same issue arise when a man love more a woman than she do. (Break up, Divorce, Cheating).

Wdym not supporting such a thing ? A woman proposing to a man altogether or this very situation where the man kinda avoided or denied wedding talk ?

I could understand the later but not for the proposing part. In this drama, she apparently made it like a ultimatum or to free herself from this relationship with "one last try". Like she said, it was either a wedding or a break up but at least the issue would be resolved once done one way or another.

Well probably because I don't see why he would have lie about that. That being said it could have been a "contract…
Yes it's uncommon but I personally know a divorced couple that stayed very good friend. Hell, even the "new" wife is besties with the ex-wife (they went to a cruise without their husbands). So yeah, it can happen. ^^'

Is the male lead really divorced ?
Well probably because I don't see why he would have lie about that. That being said it could have been a "contract wedding" without actual romantic feeling for whatever purpose they could find. But personally I wouldn't mind that they were truly married but thing didn't work out. It happen and it's nothing to be ashamed as I think it's even worse to "stay" just for the sake of it.

Omg the women are down bad in this drama. One is proposing to a man and another getting on her knees and begging…
I don't find any issue with a woman proposing to a man. It should be more normalized tbh and by that I just mean if a woman want to marry she shouldn't have to "wait passively" & could propose directly without society giving the side eye or viewing that as "emasculating" the man.

But yes, the begging on her knee was... Hard to see to say the least.
