Surprisingly great. This season nailed it. Way better than season1 in every aspect. Worth a watch. Whoever found…
I wasn't overly sold on S1 (it's been a while so I think I'll re-watch it) but I was invested enough to see where the story went. S2 exceeded my hopes and expectations and I just hope we're not waiting another three years for S3. Things got pretty insane and in a very, very good way. It seems the books are on Amazon so I decided to buy them to see what happens next. Certainly a welcome surprise.
If MDL will ever have an option to pin a comment on top of a page, here it should be yours. It's like "Pinocchio"…
Or like whenever China does a remake of the Condor Trilogy (there have been more of a few of those and counting lol). But thanks for the explanation, I think I'll make this one my starting point.
Justice in the Dark had other problems, not just censorship. The Production team was sued for either plagarization…
Yep, there was a lot going on. Not saying I'm holding my breath that JitD will ever be aired, it would just be nice if it did. Perhaps at some point, we might even see a Taiwanese adaption of Mo Du.
It's wonderful to see that this got "The Spirealm" treatment of being re-aired after initially being taken down (now, if only this could also happen for Justice in the Dark, I could die happy 🤣). Not the biggest fan of school settings but as we're fortunate enough to get the remaining episodes I'll check it out ❤️
*Not me waking up in the silly, early hours of the morning to finish watching this before work at 6am* 🤣 Looking pretty awesome so far - well worth the wait! xxxx
There are quite a few action and mystery Thai BL dramas which deserve more episodes/ a second season, but I'm ecstatic 4Minutes got one. 8 episodes was nowhere near enough to fully tell and explore its storyline (not to mention its characters...) and I hope 8Hours does it justice.
Yeah, this is my favourite BL drama of 2024 so far (although I have a feeling Love in the Big City might rival it). I love the characters, the plot is interesting and it's just such a breath of fresh air. Definitely one of those pleasant surprises you start on a whim (mainly I started watching it started airing because I had just finished Laws of Attraction). The only downside is now waiting a whole week for the next episode! 😭too good!
Well, it's horror so I'll definitely watch it 🤣 (There's a disappointing lack of scary dramas considering the time of year but I think this, Don't Come Home and Hellbound S2 more than makes up for it).
Honestly any kind of show that represents mental health or mental disorders I'm always here for them!
Move to Heaven is worth checking out too if you haven't already (and likewise expect to cry a *lot* with that one). It is an outstanding drama but very very emotionally draining. Fully agree though, I decided to check this out when I read "autistic supporting character" (my younger brother is autistic) and I'm glad I did. It's looking great so far.
As it's on your to-watch list, I'd highly recommend giving The Spirealm a try if you're looking to re-ignite that Alice in Borderland spark. It's an amazing drama, the leads work well together whilst solving various puzzles and is simply a pleasure to watch. For me, it's one of the best dramas of 2024 (or if you're up for an older c-drama, Die Now from 2017...a shame we'll never see a second season for it).
I watched this as it was airing so it's been a while but this seems very similar to what I was thinking at the time (mainly as I dislike romance in dramas like this). A shame as the initial episodes were so promising (and you're forgiven for mentioning The Untamed, it's still pretty much a masterpiece for me as well).

Hopefully we aren't waiting much longer.
(The intro was certainly impressive).
26 episodes is incredible too. Hopefully, this will be epic!
