"typecast as this same character in several dramas" doesn't help get offered better roles when one has chosen the same role over and over and over, nor does it help elevate one's talent. Is she given scripts which entail the same roles because whoever is offering sees her in one way, or does she choose the safe roles that she's comfortable in playing?

Yep, there sure are plenty of viewers who hate the drama bc it's below mediocrity. We really do hate dramas that aren't worthy of recommendation, to anyone.

The grandmother throwing the snit where she did and as hard as she did was striking. Still, the confrontation later between her and our FL into her wrongful behavior didn't result in showing viewers (or her) why she was unjust toward the FL. I find your comment about the younger actors needing to learn ironic given the decades the others have on them where they too went through several years of 'learning to act'. How else DO you suggest for them to get up to the more veteran actors's speed?

It's typical of neighbors anywhere in across the world. Dramas have the nosiness displayed 'in our face'. IRL most of it's done out of the public eye yet still maliciously directed toward someone. A smear campaign comes to mind while watching the neighbor's run with falsehoods.

I've been very pleased with him in this. I'm glad he recovered from COVID well.

Same thoughts, and I'm watching for her and Ji Jin Hee. At first, I didn't know if I could get past these 2 being the characters. Him more than her, but after 30 mins my hesitation dissipated. Also, it's among the rare dramas lately that seems to have every role be more than just a filler for filler's sake. Everyone has a place and brings it as a whole. In two dramas that I've watched recently, the actors didn't 'mesh' and it was a distraction. No forethought went into how the actors themselves blended together. Just their presense onscreen was chaotic.
