Review Stand by Me
Yes, the dubbing/voice acting industry in China is HUGE!!! If you watch some older dramas, most of the time were…
And now I know. Thank you so much. I've read about the 'official' language in China, and the dif dialects, but didn't really think such a huge country would have the need, as S Korea has one language yet dif dialects. I haven't watched enough Cdramas to know when a voice has been dubbed. I don't pay attention to their mouths as I'm reading the subtitles. Thank you again.

Netflix says I watched this (all but the last half of the final episode) but I don't remember it at all. Does…
Both. You could be watching way too many dramas; going from one to another without a breather in between. I do this. Too, if the drama isn't a true masterpiece then it doesn't register in my mind innediately after seeing it months prior. MDL says I watched this and gave it an 8.5 but I can't tell you anything about it a yr & a half later.

i so want to like this one, but just can not get into the chrmistry between all the actors. every scene feels…
Something was going on with this, for sure. There was no chemistry between the actors, and yes, it did feel like "each person is in their own drama and they compiled into a single show". This isn't the first time a drama has 'felt' like this.

I've seen reference to "Love that the actors use their own voice.". I'm new to C-dramas and one or 2 comments under other dramas about voices being dubbed has me stumped. Do Chinese actors and actresses not use their own voices, and why would they Not use their own voices?

There's a wild thing in this series, because I fear it's coincidental. There's a couple that are the Chinese answers…
Was tending to my completed list and one final read of the comments and here you are. You're showing your age, and so am I by responding.

Can someone please explain to me why everyone hates Choi Si Won? I haven't seen him before
He hasn't been shy about his religious values or his political views. Fans prefer actors or actresses to mirror their own, in fine detail. He doesn't do drugs, he hasn't raped anyone, nor killed anyone, isn't a paedophile, and isn't the shell fans expect of their entertainment embodiments. I don't like him, nor dislike him as a person. I watch him act, and he's good at his profession. Unless the man earned his hate through an arrest, indictment, and conviction (as some actors have been and rightly so when it comes to SA), then anyone following him around to comment about him (on his profile, shows, articles, etc) is breaking the law by stalking. Stop it!!!

It seems that these casting news of KSH as ML has given some ppl delusions that they can harass actors online…
I'd advize Reporting the most egregious or HIGLY offensive comments. If it isn't first-hand knowledge, then it is heresay. There are libel laws and people tend to think sitting behind a screen and pecking out whatever comes to mind without using a filter won't be held to judgement one day. We reap what we sow, and it WILL come back to bite them one way or another.

In 2024, TUBI has it with subs, no ads, no account needed, and is free to watch. It's a legal site.
You're welcome.

I've noticed in the dramas that have been released in 2024 most of the younger males have longer hair in the back just skirting their collars, whereas before their hair was shorter in the back even with their jawline. Yep, I was tired of the 'bowl' cuts.

Already feel watchers are gonna troll ths hard by saying - Nonsense 🤣🤣 if story goes bad... 😛
The drama features an elderly cast, mainly long term support and lead actors and actresses , and younger generations wouldn't be enthused about supporting such, so I don't see the trolls coming out hard and heavy. Why waste their time on something they haven't watched. Now I'm on to search for elderly heavily casted dramas. I've seen a few and they were delighful.

At this point the break up was necessary. Both leads took their time to get over this huge shock and find themselves…
I was going to delete my comment today, after finishing MND at 3:30AM this morn. There was one particular scene in the last episode (I think) where she didn't confide in him bc she wanted the job so badly and she didn't trust he would hire her if he knew of the transformation.
