Does the inner monologue /no subtitles happen a lot, or is it specific to that one scene with the letter? I haven't started it, but it's a high priority when it finishes.

What a sweet List. "Those ones I “adopt” as my internet children." My 'adopteds' are my grandchildren. When I watch them it feels like watching my own who've come for a visit. Like you, I don't stan anyne, and don't get the hots for any actor/actress.

Like all actors and actresses, there's a profile page for each one of them. If you click on the blue Lomon in…
Like most offspring. Most families use a shortened form of a child's name or call them a nickname, or at least they do where I'm from. When I read Lomon, I picture his face.

I'm on Ep 29 after repeatedly stopping and starting. Your review is very apt. I'm pushing through to the finish, but it sure is frustrating with so much wrong with this besides the lack of history. Having at least 5 other tabs open to the historical facts of the King, and every other character, the battles, etc hasn't added to my enjoyment at all. Historical fiction, emphasis on fiction, should have a separate Genre/Tag, to differentiate them from a great historical sageuk. Maybe Historical Clothing.

Kang Ha Neul cast in hopes another cast member learns how to act from an already seasoned vet at 35 yrs old.
Upon reflection, I realize I don't care enough about this actor (CEW) to have commented at all. Nor about KHN or any others. Writing, direction, cinematography, editing, and how well characters are portrayed should be the only things, taken as a whole, that drive a drama or a movie's success, or enjoyment by viewers. It is for me, but sadly not for so many others and the industry is giving what is demanded.

He portrayed King Hyeonjong, the 8th king of Goryeo, in "Queen Cheonchu" 16 years ago.
So Users don't have to hunt it down, thank you, krela, for the info that he indeed had a support role in The Iron Empress (2009) as King Hyeon Jong. Users do their homework better than the writers of the articles. Then again, we don't just copy/paste from other news sources either.

Trying to hate just the actor and not the character. But it feels weird rewatching it after finding out what KSH…
I'm scrolling for a friend's comment and stopped long enough to say, once an actor has commited a crime, whether morally or legally, or has been convicted of such, then it's hard to separate the actor from the character.

Someone suggested his profile be deleted. No. I need all of the vile pos to stay so I can place their dramas and movies (and anything new) under my Not Interested list with Why in the Note section. Casting is the first thing I scroll through when deciding to watch or not.

For past dramas, before learning of their misdeeds, I have nothing to say if I watched them, but after is another story and I do NOT justify watching anything they're in.

I saw this in Feeds and was interested. I've like a few reality shows in the past but they didn't hold my interest. With you saying "relaxing" I'm in.

I hope this one will be great bcz I miss good sageuk dramas
Historical fiction, and fantasy. This isn't considered a true historical sageuk by diehard sageuk fans, It's set within a historical location with them wearing historical clothes while adding a historical King's name to appear as a sageuk. It might as well be set in modern surroundings. Yes, most sageuk fans miss a really good true historically based sageuk.

PLEASE use the Spoiler tag. Not everyone has watched TAON. If it's a fact in the drama, it's a spoiler. If you're watching and speculating about what's going to happen, it isn't. Please don't be a THIEF. Yes, you are stealing others enjoyment when you comment what is happening when they haven't seen yet.

block bangtan buddy for a better viewing experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
It's better to Report, especially after other Users have asked kindly for that User to use the Spoiler tag. Reporting does work, and if it's noticed & reported on other drama profile pages then the User will be Blocked from using MDL. I'd rather see the comments deleted. If someone blocks the User, the comments can still be read by others who are thinking about watching. REPORT REPORT REPORT.

Episode one makes it clear karma’s a bitch. It always comes back when a bad person messes up. You can’t escape…
Karma comes around for the good deeds also. Karma's only seen as a b**** when one has done wrong.

You reminded me of my niece when she was 18 yo. The whole family was gathered at my sis's for Thanksgiving, and at the time my niece was going on & on about how old my sis was. Everyone looked at her like she'd lost her mind and told her "Old? Your mama is only 35. Apologize to your mother." Niece didn't, until she was the same age.

Stop shading cew everywhere you go, it’s boring now. You haven’t even watched him in Island where he got more…
"everywhere you go" exaggerating is so sad. I didn't watch bc I don't subscribe to Prime, and never will. How is having an opinion about the lack in acting skills hating? Or is just HAVING an opinion which differs from yours hating?

Some actors are born with the talent and others aren't so they have to hone their skill, which isn't honed unless they're willing to learn. If they have it's evident in their next role. If they haven't, it's apparent.

If the young man who has 17 roles under his belt improves greatly over the next 2 or 3 years my opinion will change. One role in one drama (Island) wouldn't convince me. It'd have to be consistent. So far, he hasn't shown me that he has. Let's be real here, he's cast to draw the younger more appearance oriented viewers in for profits. With this cast they needed someone so the younger viewers would be interested. Do you watch based on an actor's looks or do you watch based on an actor's portrayal of their character?

ps. If this is on an OTT where I can see it, and if he's improved I'll say so in a comment. I have no problem with giving more appreciations when it's due, and rarely a criticism when it's warranted.
