I've never read a comment that gave me a gut reaction ( MY strong honest intuition) into a user's negativity before, until the OP's. And based on someone's appearance, how lowsome does one have to go to disparage another human being. Attacking someone with " She unfortunately was born with a face....." reeks of vileness. People are NOT responsible for, nor should they be regarded as less than bc of, their inherent dna.

I wonder if I should even watch this. It seems too real to my own Beloved maternal grandmother's story which is a neverending mental anguish for me. I live in her (and my g'father's) home willed to me 35 years before she passed. Her designating me as "my oldest grandchild, for all intents and purposes in this Will, as my natural born offspring" riled the entire family bc they tried so hard to strip her of everything of worth over the years. The synopsis didn't mention the character of Lee Yeong Ae either, and the other two are just listed as Center director and Pastor.

I could also liken the gaze, as you call it, to how a parent feels about their child, or how I feel about my maternal grandmother. Could be Han Ji Min's character. It's unusual to see Som 1 as a character name. Could be the FL in her younger days, and possibly a woman her husband had an affair with in their younger wedded days. They have an elder for Ko Nak Hun so....
