There's a huge difference in the comments on MDL 3 years ago and those we see now.

I completely understand. Sometimes it calls for it when we see the same User spewing the same nonsense over & over under every drama. All dramas have Tags that state what the drama includes. Concubine in the Tags suggests cheating as concubines weren't married to the King or whoever and there will be interactions between them. So we have a User who doesn't quite understand the nuances when they read (or does she) the synopsis.

Same. I scroll on pass and leave her be with her no-Likes.

Learn to use Google translate. It's easier and quicker than complaining about someone's comment not being in English BY COMMENTING. The audacity to think someone who said "this is a general platform" chastising another bc they aren't using English. What unabased privilege!!!

MDL is inclusive. I've seen countless comments in languages other than my native. Those of us who know how to use google translate have NO problem 'reading' your comments, or any other's. @Scientysir Ranting is good. However, to get a better picture of a rating is to compare it to other sites that don't have fan bases. Wki is current on the episodes and the rating in SK. If a drama has low ratings in their home country it doesn't necessarily equate to the InternationaI viewers like or dislike.

The majority of complaints I see are from Users who don't understand that (unless it's Netflix or Disney+) the vast majority of dramas are By Koreans For Koreans. I think MDL would be better if it didn't have the Rating system at all.

You're correct. It's an ongoing drama in SK. It premiered on TVING on January 6, 2025, every Monday at 14:00 (KST) and airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 (KST) meaning the 3rd episode will air today and be released to Viki sometime today (or tomorrow) after subbing, with the 4th tomorrow (or the day after).

The User got caught Even IF they were sitting in SK they wouldn't be able to see beyond the current 2 eps. LOL

Our resident I-hate-cheating user will be on the WTSG page in a flash to complain about it, or has she already commented and I haven't scrolled far enough on the drama's page?

I get why she CHOOSES to complain on every cheating trope in every storyline. I failed to include "What isn't known is WHY she continures to watch such." with>>> It's to get attention she otherwise wouldn't get.

Yes, it's the drama where the horse died due to mismangement by staff. Yet, in The King's Affection episode 1 the horse has a worse accident (falling) than in TKOTLBW and NO issues were raised. Hopefully the times have changed for the better for our much beloved (mine) horses. They've reviewed how they handle animals, but will it be implemented. I can't remember which drama it was but the horses were scrawny. Every single one of them.

Sad, then really, especially when MDL should've had preventions in place, from the site launch, for episodes not aired yet in the country of origin. It seems like MDL takes the usual not addressing something head on beforehand and would rather turn their heads after it's practically beyond control like so many other sites.

They might as well do away with the Rating system altogether at this point, then we wouldn't have to hear about the massive amounts of Reports the Admins & Mods are having to wade through. Which has led to the new rule for Reporting, 3 Reports in one day by one User. In my ignorance, wouldn't that create MORE bot accounts?

Someone in the know, how can an Episode be rated when said Episode hasn't been released yet, especially when it says Aired: Jan 10, 2025 - Feb 15, 2025? Pulled from Wiki it says "It premiered on MBC TV on January 10, 2025, and airs every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST)" It's ongoing and ONLY 2 episodes have been aired in SK, Jan 10th & 11th.

It's showing Episode 3 on Jan 17th with 4 Users rating the ep. Ep 4 w/1 User rating on Jan 18, and Ep 5 w/1 User rating on Jan 24.

Is South Korea in a 5 day ahead time zone than the rest of the world? Explain to me like I'm 4yo.

This isn't the first I've seen where episodes haven't aired on SK TV yet, and have had future episodes rated already.
