I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
Read the first two excellent Reviews like I did. I've been a history buff from my teen years. Historical political, and by extention war, movies and dramas from various countries, along with my own, shape citizens' daily lives. If one wants to get a glimpse into the average mindset of a people, then look to how their history is portrayed, for the good AND the bad.
I doubt I'll ever see Uncle Samsik, bc I don't subscribe to the OTT, which is a shame.
Not sure how credible this list is knowing they did not include "Love In The Big City"
Besides, the numerous "currently not streaming on global OTTs". What good does a list do if one doesn't 'do' illegal sites to watch movies (or dramas)? Rhetorical...
Sadly most on this list aren't available on any OTT, so they're basically reminders for the viewers who use illegal sites to view. A couple or 3, are mentioned here as being on Disney+ when the movies profiles don't have Disney+ under the Services available. One is a Rental on an OTT listed, which should've been mentioned.
Came to check on a cast member, and was about to start watching. I think late at night will be the worst time…
Every night right before sleep I try to block the "gut punch". "this movie will stay with you long after you are done watching". Life-long trauma need not have additional elements from a drama that already play in one's head.
For the viewers who have never experienced what the girls AND boys did, and have been awakened to the most vilest of abuses perpetrated on innocents, I'm so very thankful and it's good to see more awareness.
Again this morn I've wavered and the fortitude to NOT watch is purely to contain what my mind and heart knows will be a devastaing watch.
This is one 'Masterpiece' I'll have to forgo, regardless of Gong Yoo being the ML.
This was a very difficult movie to watch. I was disturbed and it left me feeling gutted that monsters do exist…
Came to check on a cast member, and was about to start watching. I think late at night will be the worst time for me to finally get the courage up to face what my life-long trauma stems from. I thought maybe subjecting myself to the poison would help to up a tolerance and thus help me face my demons rather than to shut the door on them. I'll wait until morn.
"monsters do exist and justice exists only for the wealthy and the well connected" I've known this for a long long long time. At least in this case, from what I've read, better justice was served. Not so much in general for the victims/survivors of CSA because the wealthy and the well connected are they who have made the laws which are lax in comparation to the trauma which definitely IS carried for life.
humans could have done more evil than the devil itself
Do. Humans DO more evil than the devil itself because even though he's the one guiding them, he lets their imagination run wild with the evil in their hearts.
Can't believe the FL is the same mean FL from penthouse 😆😆
A little late, so this is mainly for the users who have watched this...she'd have to be able to think critically before being indecisive. She can't think at all, so the FL is ditzy, hyper, has NO boundaries as far as others are concerned, unprofessional is an understatement, spoiled, and obtuse. Saying she was acting like a teenager would be an insult to teens. They know right from wrong. Saying she acts like a toddler would be an insult since toddlers are eager to learn. I'm on ep 7.
Side eyeing for Prosecutor Princess' episodes 4/5 and 6. So you grow up, marry a man, and all of a sudden the scar on your heart from childhood sexual abuse goes poof.

Duly noted so stays On Hold..."Thoughts on ep 25-26 This weeks episodes have been the writernim's attempt to make us feel pitty for some of the characters."
But am I crazy or is the audience just unbelievable on the scale of Seoul and Korea. Check out Wikipedia, you'll…
"you'll go crazy how well-loved the drama is". It doesn't show how well the drama is loved. It shows the percentage of households viewing the drama. Reminder that someone can watch a drama even while hating the drama; case in point, Dear Hyeri (not a weekend drama). KBS has recently limited the weekend dramas to 37 episodes tops, down from 50 or more, specifically bc they'd had limited engagement for several months which also had declined over previous years (which limits profits). The percentage at this point means nothing. The ratings by those households would be more of an accurate depiction of its worth.
I placed that pathological woman on one of my lists...to avoid.
When the Weather Is Fine is good. It's a very slow slice of life type slowburn romance set in a village. How she got from it to Dear Hyeri made me wonder just wth happened to her during the 4 yr interim, bc the ML in WTWIF is a good guy that treats a woman with respect. whereas the ML in DH is the opposite.
I haven't wanted to waste anymore time with this writer after her special, Han Yeo Reum's Memory (2017) was commented on by a couple of friends that I trust here on MDL. The synopsis alone turned me away before I read their comments though.

Did you watch?

Much love, my dear friend!!!

Edit: I can't. I can't hit the play button.
