As someone in her late 60z, I agree. People say "Buttttt, it's a drama." without thinking how damaging specific characters in the drama would be if they were presented before them irl. An analogy comes to mind: If you repeat a lie often enough, it will soon be believed. By writting characters that would be considered unhealthy irl and portraying them with handsome actors & actresses, etc the younger audience begins to have the lines blurred between what is a toxic and a healthy relationship. Then we hear "Of course, we know he/she's a red flag." But do they really.

Actually, if you're sane and know a toxic vs healthy relationship, then you'll understand why most don't like it. DH is the epitome of delulu love stories bc one has to be delulu to see the ML as a greenflag and healthy for the FL. So the ones "who didn't like this was looking for delulu love stories" chose to rate it LOW for VERY valid reasons.
