Just wee observations...The house that's shown, which the mysterious boy goes into, is the same house in Come and Hug Me where Heo Joon Ho's character Yun Hui Jae murders Gil Nak Won's parents. We weren't shown the upstairs bedrooms or the lower level of the house in Come and Hug Me though.
And I think Shin Yeon Woo, the younger version of Hong Hui Ju / Na Hui Ju, would be an excellent younger version for Jin Ki Joo in a drama.
No, I don't have any comment on how HAWT our ML is or his veins. LOL
She's not annoying IMHO. She really did get kidnapped and then uses the kidnappers phone to try and manipulate…
I'm on the beginning of Ep 4 and so far she isn't annoying. I'm not trying to be funny, but she's unlike other FLs that can speak, yell, rant, and who creates a nuisance to everyone around her bc her mouth gets in the way.
Now this is the perfect example of how articles should be written. No gossip. Just straight from the horse's mouth with relevant facts about the drama. Thank you.
It is always that one moron who posts things just to get views. Only because of folks and media like these , celebs…
Look, we ALL know that one moron by name. I read the headline. I know who wrote it, or provided it to MDL. What a miserable life that one moron must have.
"The Writer has to send a message to the viewers that it is punishable by law to take, keep and use unknown money.".Unfortunately,…
"Tbh, I was one of many viewers who "Haha". " As was I, even while knowing it was wrong. So, I do believe most viewers know it's wrong, regardless of it being a fictional drama, which tends toward the absurd senarios for entertainment. Sad, isn't it, that it should be pointed out as wrong though by the writer in the times we're living.
So, the grandmother hasn't started any treatment for her stomach cancer as of the current episode (24)? WOW.
I think that Grandparents & Bong Hee will not be jailed for taking the money in the mountain because the money…
"The Writer has to send a message to the viewers that it is punishable by law to take, keep and use unknown money.".
Unfortunately, the writers from ROK don' t have a problem skirting values and morals (or the legality regarding issues, with the current laws) in their country. I don't see the writer addressing the leagaity of them taking, keeping, and using the money in a ' Mystery, Comedy, Romance, Drama'.
Before I put this OH, all I saw was the calamity surrounding the money being written as humorous. The g'parents & Da Rim dug up the money..HaHa. The first load of money burnt up..HaHa. They money laundered the 'unknown' money through gifts from acquaintances at the wedding..HaHa. There wa a pattern before the 14th ep. Did it change after ep 13?
2/10 ... 8/10 ... 3/10 ... ok 1-20 ep ,,,,,,,,, 7/10 ... 9/10 ... 8/10 ... fast 23 ep and after
Sadly I shouldn't know what in the hey your're talking about. But I do. I put this OH right after Ep 13. What I should've done is apply the 5/2/5 rule (another User's rule on another site) since it's a weekend drama. Watch first 5 episodes. skip to ep 10, watch 2 eps, skip 5, and repeat until the last 4 episodes.
Umi no Hajimari (Where Does the Sea Begin on Viki) is one of the rare binge worthy dramas written with intelligence. Yes, it rather slow. But it's so full of emotional life lessons that Time really does beg the question "Why is this episode finished already?" until the very last episode.
Personally, I only found one fault with it.
There was a time in older dramas where it was alright to have a fictional charater display the traits of a pedophile when we as the viewer KNEW they weren't, but writers have learned (and so have we) and they have a responsibility to not write a character in such a way for the viewer to question the dialogue or actions of a grown man person in a room alone with a young female child. Haruaki raised the hairs on my nape more than once. During the last Episode the scene, yes, THAT 'secret' scene, which should've been written with dif dialogue just about ruined the whole drama for me. I should add one other fault: Mizuki, as a single parent should not have depended on a single man for ANYTHING. Please note I didn't include adult female/male child interactions because those weren't the characters in this drama.
If not for that specific element Umi no Hajimari would be perfection of the highest.
And I think Shin Yeon Woo, the younger version of Hong Hui Ju / Na Hui Ju, would be an excellent younger version for Jin Ki Joo in a drama.
