Xiao LI has the most stunningly sculpted features. Reminds me of a very young Jonghyun of SHINee.

Erek Lin split my heart wide open in the orange pie scene, and it happened so fast too just the way emotions can sometimes overtake you in an instant. Beautifully done.

Glad to see this show get better and better as it goes...I considered dropping in the second ep. Now I am very curious to see if it has the courage to actually go where its makers seem to be taking us.

I didn't expect to like this at all from the synopsis but gave it a shot and when I began to get bored with the whole supernatural element I just FF'd to anything that looked interesting to me. What is keeping me interested is a simple thing: Great casting of four appealing actors, each different in look and personality, all cute but none runway-model handsome, which actually makes them more attractive, and some sweet spots among the clunky spiritual stuff.

For some reason be it great acting or writing or just intuition I began to get the Amber vibe mentioned below within the late second ep if I'm correct and now it seems to be the way things are headed. There are a few spots where I was afraid the script was going to get preachy but it backed off from that pretty quickly. SHOW please, don't TELL.

It amuses me when people watch BLs because they are BLs and then hate on fundamental elements or BLs that are harmless. For instance, Ah Le does not perceive himself as "gay" at this point so why would he purposely put himself out there toward another guy at this point? OF COURSE it takes an outside element or event to force him into confronting those feelings that are beginning to stir within. OF COURSE he's going to suffer mild gay panic when made the costar of an online video presenting him as half of a gay romance.

Itt would be boring af if everyone, at the beginning of these shows, perceived themselves as fully out, gay and proud. Where would the self-discovery core of BL have to go from there? I think watching a young man coming to understand himself as at least bisexual for the first time in his life, and eventually allow himself openly to be attracted to another young man for the first time, is a beautiful thing to watch. If I want rainbow flags, trans women who act like flaming, evil drag queens and all that from the opening scene onward, there is always Pinoy BL to fall back on.

I didn't even mind the hallowed trip/fall/catch in the storeroom, as it felt authentic to me and I loved the vibe between the two, which surprised even me as I am usually an enemy of the lazy BL trope. But even the first-aid scene here was a little different with our pink-haired cutie directing and filming them as it progressed, and Ah Le feeling weird about it at the same time he was feeling something tingly about it as he looked into Amber's eyes. Beautiful.

Note: What is it about military uniforms? I saw Ah Le in that camo-uniform and my knees went weak. I like Lukas Huang's work in this show best. He feels like a real character, he feels natural and unassuming. He is unaware of how charming and attractive he is. He just has great charisma.

So...on to ep 5.

If you are sexually assualted, go to the cops and file a report.
If you are propositioned, say no.
Don't sit and watch people having sex and then claim you are too "shocked" to move on your own.. Please.
Women like this portray themselves as helpless weaklings, "forced" to do things they were merely too career-hungry to say no to. Write an article about it, whatever, but don't claim you were forced when you weren't.

So...did he really tell her...or not? lol It felt so ambiguous and I wasn't sure what she meant about that "I guess uncle ________ would be upset..." line or whatever it was?

My problem with the non-popping is that it is RIGHT IN THE TITLE. What never is alluded to in the end is exactly what the entire show was leading and point toward. It would have been so great to see a nice, even PG13 love-to-sex scene, followed by them waking up the nex t morning and guess what? THE MAGIC IS GONE! That could have been played tenderly as well as for laughs.

That's why I'll be FFing through obnoxioius scenes to get to what we are all interested in : The seduction of Porsche.

I appreciate and understand and agree about the coming-out/self-discovery/dealing with homophobia aspect of BLs. To me that is almost a fundamental aspect of BL and I enjoy in the masochistic audience member way, the angst and drama that comes with it. Totally on-board with your take on the trend to fantasy BLs where everyone is out and gay at the beginning, flying rainbow flags on their porches and not having to deal with the real world at all.

Apparently it gets worse: From the synopsis, "Cutie Pie" gives us two mafia sons, both gay, who have been set up to marry each other by their own mafia familites. wtf? Seriously, that's the plot. I like gritty reality grime, at least in the beginning, that perhaps a BL couple then overcomes or escapes from in the final frames. All this fairy tale stuff is snooze-city and what I have always avoided coming out of the Philippines, a factory for bad BLs. Looks like Thailand is picking up the same rainbow flag and running with it.

Cherry Magic was a complete copout. The ML never lost his "cherry" of the title...how lame is that?

I'm with you: I did not laugh once during episode 2, it was a freak show in every way. I was as horrified this week at the Porsche actor's terrible comedic acting as I was impressed last week with what I saw of his dramatic side. What a disappointment.

What would make this mess worth it in the end is if Kinn forces Porsche over to our side in a nice, grimy, dark and candle-lit dungeon with him chained to the big X or sprawled out on a table for his enjoyment...and perhaps that of a few friends as well. And then, and then...Porsche starts to LIKE it. :D lol But we're as apt to see that as I am to experience menopause.

Good lord...terrible, barely soft-core porn. ML is gorgeous but not worth wasting time on the movie for. Their fake sex in an early scene is hilariously bad...supposedly he's trying to put it in her but their pelvises aren't anywhere near each other. And I've never seen a girl try to act and look so coy and hesitant as she is very clearly allowing her panties to be pulled off. lol Plus, you know it's soft-core bad when they "f**k" but the female keeps her bra on. Do people do that?

Yes, with almost 100% accuracy, you can be confident that anyone who acts like this queen in the series is gay af. I am gay af btw. OF COURSE you can't name a real person or character who flames out like this and is straight because they are so rare as to be nonexistent.
