Question: I'm aware that this series is executive-produced by Saint. I saw a comment somewhere far down in this thread about someone in the cast being his brother. I can't find anything online about that. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, maybe a link? Thanks.
Yeah, you are right. Atleast respect other people's opinion . . rather than ruining their experience just because…
How does a negative comment about the content of this show ruin your experience? Please explain that. Because you are not entitled to a positive-only comment section on shows you like. Enjoy it if you like it. Skip over comments you don't agree with. Easy-peasy.
There is always that ONE person who thinks their opinions are facts and just wants to ruin the experience for…
Oh please. To sum up: U don't like people who disagree with you and you don't want to read their comments. As far as name-calling, I have yet to call someone an offensive slur, but I have no problem using adjectives to describe them or the characters in this show. And if you were being honest, which you aren't, you'd note that I've been called names right and left. "Racist," "bigot," "homophobe," "hater," the list goes on.
Get over the idea that people should be banned if they dare to criticize a show you enjoy. That's not how it works, or at least I HOPE that's not how it works.
No...as hard as I've tried, I just can't with this abomination. Unless someone can tell me there is explicit, porn-level sex further down the line, and denote the episode and time stamp, this thing is too much of a time-waste to bear. I tried to get through ep. 4 as I was told that's when it finally kicks in but I've rolled my eyes so many times I have a headache.
Basically, this is nothing more than a nerd-weirdo-nelly-screaming queen gay stereotype's fantasy of a world in which super-handsome, uber-popular college jocks fall in love with people like aforementioned nelly queen. It would never happen. It has never happened. And it's not going to happen. Ever. Toh isn't just gay and flamboyant, he seems mentally...off.
I've already mentioned how this is the gay equivalent of an old Black Minstrel show in America, in which Black actors sang, dance, shuffled and spoke in ways that made them seem only partly human, the perfect manifestation of a white southern bigot's prejudice and stereotypes. This is the same thing...with feather boas.
Now, this could be interesting if it turned out the jocks were scamming the queens just to f**k with them, lead them on and see how nutso they could make them behave. They'd take photos, video confessions, show them swooning and buying into it, then pull the plug, reveal their scam and post it all on Instagram. Then, the queens could devise and execute a well-made plan to get revenge, however that might look. THAT might be entertaining. THIS is a bore.
You said to "move on." I repeated what you said. That doesn't seem like a misinterpetation. Maybe you just don't convey your meaning very clearly. I love that you are oh so mature here. Whatever makes you feel superior I guess. As for you last two statements. There is a LOT more to the discussion and differences of opinion than that. Your dismissive, arrogant attitude is self-evident.
This comment is being posted as of a day ago. The show is on episode 10 at this point, do you like it or dislike…
I have said several times I've only watched two and a half eps, as I never heard of it til 3 days or so ago. My remark about being related to cast/crew was tongue-in-cheek.
Wait a minute, I'm being told to watch at least 4 eps before dropping it, now I'm being told to move on after just 1. Gosh, I just don't know what is the acceptable thing to do. :)
Wow, you know this show has many issues but comments like yours is what makes me give it a lot of credit anyway.…
Oh my, aren't you the clever one...? lol I'm "deeply mad," eh. Nah, just grossed out and embarrassed at a show that has now featured about seven shrieking negative stereotypes as gay people (not ONE OR TWO among seven as your "rainbow" concept would indicate) and thus is making the statement that THIS is how gay people act. It's simply a lie.
I DO feel that way about this type of person IRL, the ones who put on the act 24/7. It's a shield behind which they had their authentic selves from the world. If you're full of self-hatred, maybe like you, it's much easier to deal with the world if you never show us who you really are and instead put on a bigot's dream of what us fags all act like. It's a big "fuck you," and I get where it comes from, to the world.
AGAIN, seven stereotypes in a fake gay world where all the popular jocks are gay too. Yeah, great writing.
You're right....I don't care what you think. I feel what I feel and I've shared it. "hate comments..." lol "biased," "prejudiced," "unacceptable..period." See how much easier it is to deal with someone you disagree with when you try to just slap labels on them instead of addressing the issues at hand?
I never said the sky was always blue. You think you're very clever with the changing sky thing, but how about this?: If the sky is blue in a given five minutes and you say it's green, it's still blue. If later it turns a sunset orange and you say it's gray, it's still orange. When it's black you say it's purple, nah...it's still black. Einstein.
And finally...this show is the equivalent of the Black Minstrel Shows of post-reconstruction era all over the U.S. With no other way to make a living, Black actors and singers shuffled and jived around the stage, acting every inch the white southerner's bigoted concept of what a n****r acted like. The adapted a stupid, intellectually-challenged personae that fed the bigots what they wanted, kind of like this show does from a gay angle.
Lol, I guess I'm guilty because I've been telling people to at least go watch the 5th epsiode before deciding…
Oh well...I was about 15 minutes into the 3rd ep when I couldn't stand it anymore and dropped. The scene where Nuea comes to Toh's place for the first time and sits at the computer while Toh just smiles awkwardly, grimaces, putters around and basically acts like an intellectually-challenged weirdo in the kitchen. It seemed to go on and on and on and I couldn't but that Nuea was attracted to this...person. But I'm going to force myself back in and finish the ep, FF button handy, then into the 4th and see what happens. This better be good, dammit! :D

lol "but your clear prejudice against "effeminate men" and the way you condescend about them cannot be accepted..." Cannot be accepted by who? I don't care if you or anyone else "accepts" anything I write in my comments. Those beliefs and statements exist independently of whether or not you "accept" them and the comments aren't going anywhere. Kind of like you saying the idea that the sky is blue "cannot be accepted." Who cares what you accept? The sky is still blue, The negative, screeching stereotypes in this show still exist too, except that I'm not whining about how they "cannot be accepted." lol
Fans have moaned the rating drop and blamed it to homophobia since then. They didn't have any gripes when it was…
Using the word "literally" does not strengthen any argument. It's also an incorrect usage. Secondly, where's the link to who confirmed this and how they did it?
