I'm going to need season 2 to cover what JinMan was up to while his niece was fighting for her life. I was hoping that they had already filmed that side of the story to release at a later date. I wonder what more they could add to the story. The writers did such a good job with keeping the story moving with the nonlinear story telling.
The mother is the daughter of t he chairman. Her marriage was a political one for business purposes. She had 2…
Their father was in the car either driving it or in the passenger seat when it crashed. Ji Han was in the back seat of the car when it crashed. I believe that the grandfather was more responsible for the accident than we currently know. And because Ji Han was present at the accident the grandfather can't look at him without remembering what he did to his daughter. Whether that is make it so she ran away from him or a direct cause of her death...but that's just my theory.
I didn’t expect Ji Han to think that a Jeong didn’t know about his brother’s secret. But it figures since…
I think the only reason he didn't think about it was because he was so drunk when she talked about knowing something about Do Han. If the grandfather knows or finds out he would be the one to remember that car ride conversation better.
Can anyone explain to me who's children are Dohan and Jihan and how they're related to the other siblings? Is…
The mother is the daughter of t he chairman. Her marriage was a political one for business purposes. She had 2 children with her husband, a son and a daughter. She wanted a divorce from her husband, but he wouldn't give her one. She left him and got with the man who would become Do Han and Ji Han's father. Timeline wise we don't know when the mother met DH and JH's father.
This drama is also boring and failure like faceless love and find yourself. DewPrim series also will be the same.…
Does Thailand have studio contracts instead of their own agency deals...like old Hollywood? I only just started watching Thai shows again after like 10 years and the two shows I watch before started the same two people and I never thought anything of it, but now with how much overlap I'm seeing it had me curious. Like is the industry just that small or are the only actors used ones signed to a network.
Okay so...if Lui likes Guy at all why isn't she taking his feelings into account in the least? Like he has stated MULTIPLE times that he does not like nor trust Faye, but Lui is like "well she likes you so she can have you, because I can't take people who don't matter talking about me." Ma'am, I'm going to need you to at least respect your other friends wishes instead of just going along with whatever Faye says.
Ive watched a lot of cdramas and I mean a whole LOT, I love the leads but the series is meh. Everything starts…
Yeah, this isn't the type of slow burn I enjoy the most. Just when things seem to be okay they throw it away and there is very little time spent with the romance side of things. This is more of a "working toward your dreams" kind of show. I realize that a lot of slow burns also have this element, but with only 24 episodes it's more weighted on the work and career side than the relationship building side of things. Which was a bummer.
I kind of want either Do Han or Ah Jeong to have the "Bi/pansexuality is a thing" conversation with Ji Han or anyone else who finds out Do Han has an ex-boyfriend. I know Do Han is a gay man, but for arguments sake and a funny back and forth it's a valid argument.
tomorrow we'll finally get that kiss, i've been looking forward to it
I kind of want to place bets on whether or not they'll get interrupted or the episode ending before contact. Because that's something that I could see the writers pulling.
Oh okay early days.... I found that their chemistry grew over time. He definitely pursues her more and it's a slow build. I thought the director and editor did a good job showing their attraction to one another. But if you aren't feeling it by like episode 8-10 I'm not sure they are going to convince you, which is a bummer, but what can you do. I've found that most of the time chemistry, like anything else, is a matter of perspective so it's going to be read differently by everyone watching. I'm bummed that you aren't feeling it, but if you aren't don't try and force yourself to continue as it's a very long. The music performances are amazing, but the whole show truly relies on the viewer enjoying the chemistry between the leads. I hope either this shifts for you or you find something that, for lack of a better phrase, "speaks to you".
If do han don't want money, company, his brother or his family then why don't he just leave korea & live in new…
That's kind of what I was getting hung up on too. If he doesn't really care about anyone in Korea, why would he care if he's outed and living in the States? I can kind of understand if he was worried about the safety of a lover or retaliation from his family, but he seems to be on relatively good terms with his grandfather. Add on the fact he's willing to cut ties with his brother....so he's not trying to protect his brother from retaliation either....I'm not sure why marrying his bestie seems like the best option. He's a talented artist...so he could make his own living. I hope that Ji Han will point this out when he confronts him about everything, that is if he actually puts two and two together. I just wish they would have dived a bit deeper into the blackmail and Do Han's motivations.
Trust that they have a way to contact the person trying on the dresses, as this service isn't free they would have had a card down anyway. Also, you know all those employees are more excited about the tea that they just witnessed.
it's a romcom, ofc there's some silliness. live action adaptations, comedies, some Shoujo stuff...ofc there'll…
1. I haven't seen the shows you mentioned. 2. AGAIN I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT JAPANESE SHOWS. How is that so hard to comprehend? I'm not going to write a damn thesis on what annoys me from every genera and every country that I watch media from when i'm discussing ONE FREAKING SHOW and giving context to describe the specific acting I'm referring to.

oh I really liked My Little Happiness. The ML & FL had great chemistry together. i might have to rewatch that one soon. 🤔 I cant watch shows im actually enjoying with the comments on cause 9/10x they are going to point something out that, although can be funny as hell, can take away my enjoyment. Now if I'm watching a show & the writing is so confusing/not it, i will be the one making comments. Totally get what you mean about FL in LMLMV following the ML around. It did at times seem that way. I wish they could have developed her independence a bit more.
I feel cheated and betrayed… everyone hyped this drama up so I’ve been saving it to binge but I’m very disappointed.…
I only recommend this show to people who know they like a slow burn, and like fluffy cotton candy/floss kind of romance. Some people find cotton candy to be sickly sweet. If you're a fan of Jane Austen or other period type of genera then this might be worth the watch. If you enjoy cinematography and music this could also appeal to a you. If you need a bit of spicy or angst to keep you interested, this show is going to drive you up a wall so quick. This is a stroll down a long path on a nice day with nothing to do kind of show. I appreciated the way the director chose to slowly approach the relationship, with looks, glances, small touches, and other cute yet building moments. 'Amidst a Snowstorm of Love' is in a gear above this one in slow burn...so that might be one to avoid too. But there have been many who didn't like LMLMV but loved ASL.
Hope you found something more up your alley to watch. 😊
I love Jian and Zhou a lot but 2 episodes down and the leads are playing hide and seek. All that has happened…
Some parts of episodes that you might enjoy. Episode 5: the first half = first duet with the leads Episode 17: the last 15-20ish minutes = FL performing with some of the company members Episode 27: this is the whole company's anniversary performance in costume...all the actors are professional singers as well so this was a really nice performance.
There are some great compilations on youtube of the show ,that will hit all the highlights so you can skip the slow burn if that's not your vibe.
Great acting and nice music!! But I personally think I’ll be dropping it soon only because it’s not my cup…
If you enjoyed the music at all I highly recommend watching at least part of episode 5. You'll hear them sing together for the first time. Last 15 minutes of episode 17. And episode 27 has the company members performing for their anniversary concert.
i am watching the 7th episode. Until now, i love the drama: slow but not boring, very cute. But a few details…
I have some spoilerish things at the bottom. But I hope this helps you.
1) It wasn't a private chatroom. It was an open forum and that's how he came across it. After that he is connected to her friend through work and so a lot of the chatrooms are for the employee/venders/interns to all talk and coordinate for an event. Her friend is the one allowing her into the chatroom. Also some of them are open to fans to listen in on. I'm not 100% on the social networking site they are using, but some of them are just for anyone to talk/listen to, others you would need a link to access.
2) He never says anything about their relationship because even if he did would they believe him? As he wants FL to be his girlfriend eventually he just lets them assume. He's never dated anyone and he is a very private person to begin with. As denying her being anything to him could backfire and harm her, remaining silent about it works for the time being. With his friends they are teasing, with the public...it's not really their business. Also it's his indirect way to show his interest in the girl, but leave it up to her to deny it among the friend group.
(spoiler for a later reveal, but it might help you understand him better....ML hears her voice on a demo tape for a song that she wrote and wants to know who she is. But the demo didn't have a name associated with it and it was apart of a larger batch of demos. So over the course of 2 to 3 years he listens in on open chats associated with music in his free time, to see if he can hear her voice again. He is periodically looking for other songs by the unknown artist as he likes her style and voice. When he hears her talking about food to her friend, he starts to tell her about a recipe, because he doesn't know how else to talk to her. They both fell in love with each other's voices before ever seeing each other in person. They both are a bit aware that falling in love with someone's voice might be seen as a bit strange so they slowly get to know each other. When he heard the same song in the convenance store he knew the song already. He would have asked about it at a later date, because he could tell that they were closing up for the night and didn't want to be a bother.)
