hahahahaha Join the club!!!
This article is SUPER!! I keep asking myself the same questions, though I always hide my fan-girl-ism behind a fake excuse; "I like his acting" instead of the truth; "I like HIM"
Out of the dramas you discussed, I've only watched Big and Innocent Man and I totally agree with your point, though Innocent man had a bit cliched premise and some immature characters and a bit hard-to-swallow happy ending, but it's still one of my favorites.
I also hated BIG a great deal after finishing it, though I can't say I didn't enjoy watching it!! might seem strange, but this'll only make sense to people who've went through the super dumb ending in this one.
Please keep writing articles!! I totally love it
This article rocks! Super hilarious
It's mostly funny coz it's so painfuly true, I assume everyone who've read this and has a preview writing experience will find thay his/her own review unfortunately fall into one of these categories, at least I did :D

Hi!
I felt the need to add you so I can follow your articles! Love them :))
Thanks in advance
WoW i simply love this article!!!
Especially the trauma and extraordinary looks parts! HILARIOUS :D
well, I'd say I prefer the character that has a bit of some/all of the above mentioned but not in the unbelievable manner that most dramas especially Korean ones portray them, like they can be super rich and extraordinary handsome but they don't have to also have all those "bad-guy" traits that women in Asia for some reason seem to be attracted to (!!), and also display those traits in the cutest and lovable manner as they always manage to do. One ends up feeling he's watching a Sci-Fi movie not a drama, there has to be -ve parts as well so we can feel they're human and relate to them. I know what I say doesn't make sense, sorry!
Oh, i almost forgot, I love the graph in the end! It makes sense too ;-)
Thanks for the awesome article once more
Thanks for answering a question that always bothered me; which of the Japanese and Korean versions kept to the original manga story
I haven't watched the whole Korean version, but from the parts that I watched I noticed how there were many differences in the plot when compared to the Japanese (which btw was my first JapDrama). The Korean tries to create it's own original parts in order to be more relate-able to the Koreans to watch and enjoy, but too much changing of the plot (and central parts at that) is a bit hard to swallow esp. for a Hana Yori Dango fan
I NEITHER care a bit about eye candy NOR was it my first Korean drama like most people (thank God for that) so I'm afraid I can't forgive all the negative parts this drama had under the excuse of such things, I only watched the first episode and a few scenes later but have to admit this is one BORING drama and I HATE the female lead
I add my voice to everyone's, King2Hearts' Kim Bong-goo is definitely the most annoying, irritating, frustrating,…
Nice to meet to meet a fan of kim bongoo for a change ^^
Well no body said anything about his acting, we were merely criticizing the character he was playing, and for everyone to agree to hate it in this way, If it proves anything it would prove how well he played this super nasty character to the extent that we ended up hating him himself.
I only watched him in tree with deep roos, and though he also played the villain there as well (a villain with a cause this time lol) I could tell he was a good actor not my favorite though :-))

I don't know much about the exact nature of the relationship between north and south Korea, other than that the North keeps threatening to bomb the South lol. It does make sense! come to think of it the mere idea of making the firearms dealer/terrorist trying to create war between the two countries a south Korean is in itself quite a bold one if you ask me, of course in case the North's government do actually watch the South's shows lol
So you have a point, considering the story line, his insanity was essential :D
I TOTALLY HATED THOSE IDIOT FOREIGNERS!! I couldn't manage to understand the need to make them foreigners like you did, so that made me all the more irritated each time they make an appearance, especially that creepy lady ><
Thanks for sharing your ideas, you sure have deep thoughts about every drama you watch! sugoi!
I add my voice to everyone's, King2Hearts' Kim Bong-goo is definitely the most annoying, irritating, frustrating, hopeless, meaningless.... (and all the negative adjectives you can find) villain in all of the dramas I've watched up till now both Korean and Japanese. I just hate him, and hate the writers who created him, thinking that by making him a terrorist that would make everything he does or say however unbelievable it might seem make any sense, but the problem is IT DOESN'T!!! He makes you feel you want to cancel his whole character coz you were enjoying the show just fine before he showed up :((
I didn't expect to find Tree with Deep Roots listed here, since one normally forgets it started off with a revenge…
I just read your previous comment to another user who complained Nice Guy was missing: "Considering the revenge was due to a situation of his own making, revenge? Initially I did not feel Ma Ru was justified. He put himself in that position. Every single one of these resulted in a death, big difference. So it did not fit my definition at the top."
Well, have to admit you make a good point. Come to think of it, Nice Guy had a major motive issue, I mean he wasn't taking revenge cause she abandoned him and went off and married another guy while he was in prison, he was rather taking revenge cause after he was released for covering her murder up she ended up reporting him to the police (or so he thought) and also threw him some nasty provocative words! well, Some Motive right? (laugh)

I agree with your review of Bad Guy. It was my first Korean Revenge drama, and I have to admit I was greatly disappointed with the ending, later when I found out about Kim Nam-Gil's army thing I thought "Now it makes a bit sense why it felt abrupt". I remember the best thing about that drama was its OST, definitely a must hear even if you didn't have the chance to watch the drama.
I also agree that the best part about Gaksital is by far the bromance between the two male leads. Though it turns a bit awkward near the end, but I still found the most touching scenes were the ones involving the two of them (my favorite of course is the one with the two crying on the bicycle)
though, I was expecting to find Innocent Man/ Nice Guy on this list, but anyhow....

Thanks for the friend request ;-) Nice to meet you
WoW this article's got to be by far the funniest article I've read here. But it would be impossible to make it…
No no let me assure you, by most people's standards you're by no means considered to talk a lot, i can tell so since i'm someone who's always told is a chatterbox ;-)
Thanks for exchanging thoughts

When i said it was impossible imo to give it rules i didn't mean to be criticizing, no on the contrary I believe the real fun behind your article is that you're discussing the whole thing in a scientific way :D
I agree with most of what you've written since i'm suffering from most of them to a certain extent ;-)
Thank YOU :-)
