One issue I had with the games in S2 was they weren't deadly. In S2, if you failed to complete the game or win,…
This was definitely a factor that made s2 less gruesome and bloody. The majority of us loved s1 for it's brutal and vicious rules/games. They toned it down by a lot in S2.
I wish he died in a game instead of being forked to death. It would have been satisfying to watch him die that way since he was very pro "O" since the beginning. It would've been his "karma" π«£
The ending sucks, but it's understandable why Dae Ho acted the way he did at the end. He stated that he grew up with 4 sisters, his dad wanted him to join the marine to be more "manly"/man. Dae Ho was very good at Gonggi, which indicated he's not the type of person suited for war or fights. He's much the kind of person who likes playing games and spending time with his sister. So, at the end, he panicked as he didn't want to do.
ngl this was more enjoyable than season 1 in my opinion.. the ending is the only thing that makes me upset
The majority of people who are complaining is because they expected a repeat of S1 (thrilling and bloody games, etc.). S2 heavily focuses on planning and trying to take down the host. A lot of talking and plotting in S2
Many many people enjoyed/are enjoying it, when something huge like this is comes out a vocal minority will always…
Totally! One thing I would have loved to see differently in S2 is letting T.O.P character died in a game, instead of being forked in the bathroom scene. After all, he was very much pro "O" since the beginning. Seeing him die in a game would've been his "karma" π
Maybe I'm the only one, but I enjoyed watching S2. S1 focused on games, betrayal, and building the plot and introduction of what Squid Games is all about. With the appearance of so many great actors and actresses in this season, I wish the writers could develop the characters more. There's a lack of connection between all the characters in S2. Hyun Ju, the mom and son duo are the only ones I am rooting for. However, it's clear that the writers wanted to focus on getting revenge and taking down the host. This is the main reason why we don't feel as connected to the characters unlike S1. I'm excited to see how part 2 plays out. I just hope more characters will survive by the end of S2, and not [all] be killed off. I would love to see Gi Hun leave with more allies.
