I love sports dramas. And I loved 'Run on'. I'd argue though that that's not a sports drama at all. Three of the four main characters have completely different occupations. Might as well call it an arts drama, or a business drama. Slice of life is a better box to put it in.

I'm not an anime only fan: I've read the manga, and it's fantastic, But if you're really going to skip the anime just because of what other people say... that's just... oh well... too bad I guess... Nope. It was supposed to be a hot kiss. I don't want to harp on about the anime... but in the anime the kiss was HAF!! From Uecchi's side yes, but also Mafuyu... he was overwhelmed. In the live-action he was barely whelmed.
