I think it has been cooked in his head for months now. I saw a comment on his weibo account about not taking a decision when you're angry (I can just read, can't post anything). And I'm sure he reads people opinion, a lot say he's talented but he's not given good roles like the one from the "Legend of Dugu". if there's other pressure like those agencies can act like pimps and take a lot of money, so it's basically too much on all levels for him... he'll die with anger at some point and he seems like a proud dude, he gave enough and he's done.

I understand now a post from a few months ago when he posted about not deciding under the impact of anger. I just hope he's healthy and isn't just throwing the towel altogether. So from all what you're saying, I can have some "guesses" about him: so he's indeed from a rich background (I've read somewhere here that his parents are rich) but he has no "support" for his "choices of life", maybe they expected him to be their heir and study or some shit like that. If he had support, he'd have been more "cocky" about it and flashier, he wouldn't need to be in debt for a fancy car. If he were on his own at that moment, I guess none of these fancy girls would stay with him for too long and they'd have "better options" (money-wise). He's not that social or reaching a "normal" girl due to his job, so his options are also limited somehow.

Maybe he also wants a famous girlfriend/wife, so any other "profile" is out of the question for him. If he were dating right now, I'm sure as hell that whenever it's gonna be the right one for him, he'll make sure not a single soul would know about it and it could be easier if that woman is discreet (like some famous writer, businesswoman, someone from his "level" but doesn't need the flashlights of media for her career to stay relevant).

The fact that he doesn't rely on his aunt is another way to prove to his "rich family" that he can be self-reliant and reach their level, even surpass them with his work alone. So for that money (when you grow up rich, it's hard to live "poor"), he'll do whatever it's trending, hence his idol-drama crap and he doesn't have more freedom to explore his talent and upgrade his acting skills (he's talented but he needs stronger scripts and big names to bet on him). He was also in that last "generation" where models were seen as models, not actors, so it would have been much easier for him if he "studied" acting but God knows what grades he had and mostly, if his family would allow such an "adventurous" choice, especially if his parents are traditional, basically become a doctor, engineer or a failure. 😂

You know what, I can even see a great drama out of such a story hahahaha, it has all elements, beauty, love, sickness, struggle, success and a dream of a bigger success. Yes, anything "noir" would be amazing. I was also thinking about Hu Ge as well in "Blossom Shanghai" (didn't watch it yet) but the visuals, all that dark stuff, the suits, would look FANTASTIC on Jeremy. He should also include adventures as you said like "tomb of the sea", he will ROCK them as well, he's fit and darker/urban clothes will look amazing on him.

That too, maybe a bit of Botox to avoid wrinkles especially that his face is very expressive. But I think it's very light on him, he can still frown his eyebrows and it shows, not like other actors who are quite... I mean, they gotta be light handed on Botox.

I have doubts for any other kind of filler because I've seen different pics of him and he doesn't look like having filler, his face is already thin, the only one thinner than him is Liu Yunxi.

His "first path" was modeling so he's overall thin eventhough he does have a good figure... so his face is angular and has "high visual weight" facial features wise (high nose, more "cut" features like eyes, his lips are thin but very well shaped) , make-up will pop up extremely well on him. I know this because I have mediterranean features, my features will be "very showy" If I put on a full face make up, hence the tendency to put minimal basics, I'm not an actress lol, I only have a regular job.
