A big major genuine questions: feel free to message me if theres long answers:Havent watch/started yet but going…
To add on Big_Red’s comments. This is definitely a satisfactory happy ending with no rush. There are 5 realms in this story, the two main leads, Ji Bo Zai and MingYi, are from Sunken Abyss and YaoGuang Mountain, but there is a twist to their identity. It is a coming together for convenience type of relationships with deception and no trust, and a journey of how this CP build their relationship with bigger threats. It’s 💯 worth watching for me, and you can see the comment section, it tells. Enjoy watching if you decided to pick this up;).
It would have made more sense for the Zhushui emperor to be the final villain. After all, he had been orchestrating…
I agreed with you that Emperor ZhuiShui feels more like the ultimate villain, he was the one that started to want to conquer the realms for power. STL was corrupted by the dark powers and a sad misguided kid. But here they decided not to give him a redemption arc, which I am also fine as he has done too much harm. Actually I felt STL’s actor was also too inexperienced to hold this role.
I wanted to watch this but after reading the reviews - its a tough call.... The positive reviews are all superficial…
FL’s lying has a background to it. If you follow her journey, you will understand, it’s actually quite tolerable based on the story arc. This story has lots of typical XianXia tropes, however what make it impressive is the leads chemistry and how the story was told. If you enjoy a typical XianXia, you will like this story;).
Ep27. When did he give her the millet? If he hadn't destroyed it, why didn't he give it to her sooner? Edit: Nevermind,…
It will be explained in next ep. But if you want to know JBZ cultivated the GMD and put it in the pancake and gave it to her in the forest when he met her. It will also be mentioned why he didn’t feel the need to tell MY. Btwn miscommunication is part of XianXia trope, a must have. lol!
Normally I can’t really stand whining, child-like female lead. But somehow Lu YuXiao in this role, I can accept and find her very adorable and even when she behaves coquettishly, she is just too cute.😍
The Empress' acting has been very confusing to me, and I mean the acting of the actress, because in her scenes…
I think it’s the script here that tries to give her a redemption arc of showing that she is not exactly a selfish villain. In the novel, she is just terrible person. So here, they make her show mixed emotions trying to let the audience feel that she is also helpless in her position and in order to survive and make sure her child survives, she made that choice to exchange. If audience can’t feel it, it just means the directing and acting is not giving tha right vibe😅.
It’s 💯 worth watching for me, and you can see the comment section, it tells.
Enjoy watching if you decided to pick this up;).
