In a way, he is a pathetic useless villain. Since young, because of his weak nature, he lives in the shadow and also can’t use his own name. He was brought up to just take from He Yan as he was taught so and he probably know deep in him that he has no capability yet always being put in the position to be compared with powerful He Yan. So in his twisted mind, he thought by removing He Yan, he will have a chance to shine. It’s an excuse of not seeing his own flaws. Well portrayed by Bai Shu.
But our FL’s character will be nothing like Zhu Yun😅🤣.
