Well written! Was waiting to read your review. Your review gave me some understanding about DengKe’s style. Realised he is not really into complex political plots but choose to focus on the romance. I like the beginning set up for Wei Shao’s character, however the script really made him the ‘prisoner for beauty’ very quickly.;)

Lord ZiChuan is not a good person, his decision is often driven by his own selfish means and gain for power. He fear ML because he is the most unpredictable among the three brothers. Sorry I can’t recall about the black and white scene, could be flashbacks. The red eye guy is ZiChuan Xiu, Thats his secret, he has special power to manipulate time. Maybe you can ask these at the season 1 page, so whoever is still watching can clarify.

I am suspecting that the third person could be the Emperor.? It is also weird that ZH never verify the info. and already seek revenge, what if he kills the wrong person? ZLY even at his death, won one deception that ZH fell for.🤦🏻♀️ So Antu was telling the truth when she said her Mother wasn’t involve in the killing of ML’s family.
OK, someone please explain this to me because I’m very confused at the end of episode four when ML was using…
ML’s power is that he can move faster than usual. So when he uses that skills, the armless dude has experiences it before and can recognized it. So he reached out to attack Xiu but only after Xiu killed everyone around there then he could slash Xiu. Xiu wasn’t expecting his attack, so he got slash mildly at the back. Armless dude was still slower. If that scene wasn’t clear, then it’s the director and camera man’s angle wasn’t capturing clearly. Hope this explain it.

I don’t think there will be between ZCXiu and Ka Dan, but it will be challenging for ZC Xiu to return home. If you have an opportunity, do watch season 1, it’s good.
So the last 14 ep will be dedicated to the third killer. The plot killing the first two killers led to a lot of sacrifices, those soldiers and generals are all good war heros. As ZH said, would there be a better way around it?
