I didn’t read the novel, but my guess is Mu Zheng Ming and Cai Ping Shu were once lovers but Mu Zheng Ming turn bad after practicing certain forbidden skills hence Cai Ping Shu was force to kill him. So now the next generation between ML and FL, hopefully they will make the right decision and have a happy ending.

I watched his recent drama ‘Moonlit Reunion’, the melodrama there was also toned down a lot but still there😅. However he really captured beautiful scenery.

Ah, this explain it all. I find it odd that this director tends to enhance certain camera angle. So it’s because he wants to achieve an idol drama look, which I find it overdoing. Both ZYR and BSE can act naturally without the additional camera angle.
Guys, there have been people complaining about the editing, before I watch, is it really that bad?
I complained about it, but it’s not ‘that bad’, it’s just unsmooth in transition of scene and breaks the flow, however if you watch on, the storytelling is still coherent.

I didn’t read the novel, so watch this fresh eye. It’s about JiangHu, WuXia, romance between ML from demon sect and FL from righteous sect. The fight between the so call righteous sect and demon sect and who being more powerful. Story isn’t too bad, acting also okay, the first 5 ep is a little confusing but slowly clearing up in eo 6. If you like to see beautiful scenery and such story, you may enjoy it;).
I have no issues with ML or FL acting, the scenes are beautiful. I only have issues with the editing and how unsmooth the story telling was and some irritating characters. However from ep 6, things definitely improved. Like some viewers here, although I watched a lot of c drama, I can’t tell the different faces for the young male disciples, they really look alike😅. The beginning and ending oriental instrumental sound track are quite nice 😍.

I skipped almost all her scenes, can’t stand her character. Thought this type is old school but yet they have such character as a bully🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
