I watched the first 3 ep., but somehow the story is not holding my attention, I don’t know why…
So we have a ML with rich family background who is smart and live at first sight for FL. Then he starts to pursue FL, a very typical plot, but why she like her, we don’t know yet, or it’s just so superficial that he likes her look or script said so. Then we have a poor FL (feels like Cinderella), who have all her focus on study and earning money. The chemistry shown is not convincing or maybe I was expected to see it in progressive manner and not through a game where both seems to be able to guess each others’ thoughts just like that. I am not seeing her character standing out, maybe need to watch more ep for me to like her. I am not a hater, just stating my opinion.
Ep.3 TTJ living up to his Disney princess status. YXW is so silly following TTJ around and that crow has perfect…
Watching ep 3 and ep 4, just again made me conclude that YXW/LSS is really not very smart. She asked ChunTao to observe him and when it’s reported that he talks to animals, she is not at all suspicious. LSS/YXW just conclude that TTJ is too lonely..lol! This is also where we see LSS has lots of empathy. TTJ got his first gift from YXW.
At this point with all the misery TTJ going through, it’s hard to imagine he has any kindness still possible in him.

We see the bond begin between TTJ and XiaoLi, and why he tried so hard to be like him, he just want to be love and not be bullied. I personally find this ep sad as I don’t like to see kids being abused.
Having a bit of drama drought and I will always come to watch some clips of this story, as I really like Lu Cheng and Gui Xiao’s chemistry. I watched all of Mao Bao Fei Bao’s novel adaptation to screen, IMO, this is the best couples among all. It’s precious to find long lasting first love and both leads character are true and loyal to each other loving relationship hence they both didnt date others and was frozen for 10 years till they reconciled, such wonderful romance that we hardly see in the modern world. Human tends to be fickle-minded but in love, we should be single minded and devoted to make it last. This CP are made for each other, really love this kind of relationship.

I must say, I am beginning to notice how CDL and DengWei really matched in terms of their physic and looks. Would be excited to see these two in a drama as main lead, although this show has created so much hate for YBC’s character, in a way, it’s really well done for CDL to make so much success as a villain here🤣😅.
The smart, sickly and skinny TTJ, that just makes us pity his state. LSS is all committed to find the evil bone, but she has no idea where to find and how to get rid of it. She is really living in the moment and taking one step at a time.😅

Agreed! Ep 1 has so much going on. Even after a few re-watched, ep 1 is still the most impressionable. DG’s make up and appearance just filled the screen. I really love the opening colourful grahpics. And it’s also first time that I feel Bai Lu is so pretty in her costume. LSS seeing her family and whole sect being slaughtered in front of her is terrible trauma. Yet I am amazed how she could immediately be YXW, as a character, she really control her emotions well. Again I love ChunTao, she is the cutest!
Wow! Just watched this and I am so impressed by Jackson Yee’s acting. He nailed the role, I have a friend who has the same condition, and it’s really a struggle to navigate life and attempt to find success. One really needs a lot of mental resilience and good family support.
