Well written! Thanks for your analysis. After watching the ending, I have lots of mixed feelings how the story came together. I like how the writer end this however the final arc just feels so messy. But your explanation here gives reassurance. ;)
I don’t think it’s bad, just messy to me. The strong focus on having the FL to save the day and everyone was too forcefully written for me at the final arc. But it’s just a personal opinion.
It’s probably just me. There are good points, like the girls coming together and Yunxi’s plan to revealed Zhuang was good. I can also accept the concubine’s willingness to help as she was rescued. But from there onwards, YuShan’s turning, having HanYan running to rescue Yunxi, the ‘He’ guy trying to frame FL, the Wen’s wife having evidence on ML being undercover and how the villian was forced to write the anitidote was just all too convenient.
The last 5 ep really baffles me…where’s the plot logic???
It just feels rather messy, plot twists for the sake of plot twists, when it’s repeated too many times, it became uninteresting. It feels like the writer is trying so hard to please everyone and give satisfying explanation for each characters ending, but it feels rather forceful. The plot is quite messy at the end, it just gave everyone a chance to showcase their emotions. But at least it ends with audience not needing to see ML’s dying but we knew his poison has no cure.
