Ep 23, the synopsis is misleading. It said these two leads will learn to trust each other and used their wits together to uncover and bring down villian. With only 7 more ep. left, I am only seeing FL doing all the scheming and charging forward herself and just using ML, she is all spikes of revenge, which I understand but she is definitely not working with ML😅😅😅.

My only complaint about that roof top scene was, why did the director ask ML to grab her neck…and they did that twice!!! There are more witty ways of showing ML’s frustration towards FL’s recklessness, I don’t think he intends to hurt or kill her but he is trying to warn her of the danger she is putting herself into and not discussing with her before executing them.
I also felt this plot turn was to show viewers how FL has turn from being ML’s pawn to be the chess player and controlling ML as pawn. IMO too abruptly done 😓😓😓.

Yeah, poor girl, I actually pity her as she is really way too simple minded.

This themes have somehow been surfacing in a couple of dramas being released. I felt it’s so painful to watch them talking about it again and again.😓

Yeah, the family plot has been moved to palace politics involving Consort Miao. This whole plot was done so fast, that we can easily missed it. The Dengs and Yao are just those who dislikes women in power and trying to overthrow Consort Miao. FL is just trying to gain her protection and taking a gamble that she will agree to help her bring down her father. It’s confusing indeed. Too many plot points on the revenge, also because FL’s father is rather scheming too.😅

Wow…ep by ep, this series never fails to surprise me. FL is all in revenge mode and turn her tables around towards ML. Can’t see this pair being any way close to being in love…feels more like to carnivore walking along the same path but anytime could bite each others throat 😓.

The costume is true to the Ming dynasty, and what HanYan wore for wedding was extravagant and elegantly beautiful.

This drama has change some elements. I will share the key points of this drama plot: in the end Hun Dun Zhu retained all her memories from Ah Zhu but is Mu XuanLing and she marries the reborn Xie Xue Chen with Zhao Ming’s memories but not Zhao Ming.
In the novel story, Mu Xuan Ling regain Ah Zhu’s memories, Zhao Ming and Xie Xue Chen merges and become the demon lord of abyss, so she marries him. Technically no difference for ML in the novel as whether it’s Zhao Ming, Xie Xuan Chen, they are all fragment of one person. And the reborn MXL accepted him as it is.

She had to sleep through worst in her younger days. Her trauma threshold and resilience is very high.

Hahah….thats what I said in the beginning about ML. Although he make clear of his intention towards FL, his behaviour is such ‘green tea’ towards her🤣😍.
