Totally understand. Once bitten twice shy. Back then for PA1, it really has way too many ep and too many fillers with poor production scenes 🤦🏻‍♀️. I am glad that they are using a fresh pair of leads and different directors for S2, hence will likely be expecting something very different from S1. I will go in without expectation and waiting to be surprised.
Yup, for me, the CP between ZLY and LGX is make up in Legend of Shenli, don’t need to see them again. lol!

It’s the director for ‘The Double’, so shall expect art direction and filming approach very different from season 1. And I am anticpating this one too😍.

Just caught up with ep 24, FL needs a child and Mu Feng to come to her senses that she has been manipulative towards ML.

Some after thoughts…the screen play decided to kill off FL’s mom to show use that she has to suffer her retribution of abandoning her daughter for revenge. Then the latest story on the older woman who got her freedom and happy ending with FL’s help, shows an opposite ending. And the repetitive dialogue from ML, warning FL that her seeking power and revenge won’t result to good ending. It’s all set up so hopefully FL can learn her lesson before it’s too late. ML is scheming but he is not revengeful and he has his family to protect but FL is reckless and she is going on self destructive mode to revenge. Hopefully she realise it and not needing ML to rescue her from her action.
Every action has consequences, fingers crossed that we see a good conclusion of her action. We shall see.

Yup, exactly. She is reckless and not concerning about ML’s position. Hence I commented later that ML’s daughter maybe the turning point for her, my guess.

Yup, I know. Thats why I commented about the director’s art direction on this scene. So far as how the story was told, I also believe ML has no intention of hurting FL, however the director could use a different styling to show their dialogue instead of the choking approach.😓
