Coming back here and reading the comments, I felt we should formulate a standard reply to those who are watching this show or starting to watch this: 1. Watch on, you will understand and feel for ML, 2. Watch on you will forgive FL, 3. Watch on they can be very sweet, 4. The author wrote a good story bringing audience on rollercoaster ride of emotions, just watch on. If you still can’t feel it by the end, then this story is not for you. 🤣😅.

Most of us will. But TQ’s character design is a reasonable and insightful man, he get over and forgive her immediately after his bestie pointed it out.😅
I came here after watching Leo Yang’s ‘Undercover Affair’, as mini series story, definitely preferred that to this one. Here has a lot more plotholes and convenient plot. But this was also watchable. A ML found his only purpose in life is to support and protect FL wholeheartedly. He felt for her when they are both 6yrs old and he is still obsessed with the love after 18yrs later.🤦🏻♀️ The ML is good at acting cool, arrogant and totally green tea. The FL’s acting is a bit stoic, she only has one expression. The inconsistency on the FL’s strength, she was initially seems to be able to fight so well then later on in the ep., she kept getting captured😅, so as to give ML a chance to save her.
I normally only watch short mini series when there is nothing much happening. I chance upon the first ep. when it first released, had put it on hold until now picking it up again. Binged it and finished in one day, and it actually surprises me. There were good moments, like a couple of beautiful scenes were quite nicely shot. The CP has great intense sensual chemistry, the leads can act, the story was not too complicated with at least a good ending. Poor FL was in grief for three years. I wondered why China police being an undercover cop is really so committed here (ML’s role).

TQ has a prejudice towards SCC and in the beginning, his mind is always fearful of her because of his misunderstanding towards her since high school. But when he saw the filter personality of SCC, he see it without prejudice. Hence as you watch on, the plot will show his view changes towards SCC and falling in love with her. Enjoy!

Yup, just sharing some thought on this, I totally understand from SCC’s perspectives in the beginning. However when I first watched the process, it just felt her action was done in expanse of TQ’s emotional and mental health. Fortunately TQ’s personality is written to be resilience, smart and understanding, which he could bounce back. Given a lot of other normal ML, they would have sustain a long term PTSD syndrome for a long time. And after watching till the end, I also come to understand SCC’s struggle, and here it definitely shows her growth, she also learnt to realise her action has caused much distress, so the arc can be reconciled.
How is love triangle in this drama ?? Does fl set boundaries or she doesn't know what's happening around her and…
FL has never show love to SML, she treated him like a good friend. SML’s love is one sided. When she knew about it, she come clear with him very quickly.
