Same feeling, the last 5ep., felt that the flow of the story was choppy. Probably as you said, I do believe that many scenes were reduced and cut.

So sad that his first wife was not even given a face. She is just a name and someone who gave birth to Ah Zi😅.

Smart FL, smart SFL, green tea ML and confused villain (at times wear mask and at times show face). lol! The hold set up and lighting is actually quite well done here. If the villain want FL to kill the Emperor, shouldn’t he be helping her set up more…I should switch off my brain when watching mini series. This is actually not too bad.

Well written! Thanks for your analysis. After watching the ending, I have lots of mixed feelings how the story came together. I like how the writer end this however the final arc just feels so messy. But your explanation here gives reassurance. ;)
