Title Missing You Spoiler
Good movie, however, with no impact to the neck, that wide ass dog collar, She was hanging about a minute, and…
I thought the same! They didnโ€™t even try to resuscitate her. No one considered that such short time may have passed and she could be resuscitated. Then they just left her on the ground after crying out in anguish to go beat up Ki Beom. Iโ€™m glad they at least turned off those loud sirens that time. They bungled the previous call to the hotel by not doing so.

I really like this! Kairi is difficult to understand at first, but I can't bring myself to hate him. He's balanced in his ways that I don't find him insufferable just yet. The annoying one is Yui. Her self-righteousness gets old fast, but I figure she has her own story. It's fun and inspiring watching FL do her best and grow.

This drama is insane!๐Ÿ˜† It has me laughing so hard. I forgot how much fun rom-coms can be when written well-ish. Hooray for an ML who isn't cold or toxic! Does that man have a home or does he sleep on a weight bench?๐Ÿ˜… I find both the ML and FL very likeable. Their offbeat personalities make them quite compatible and fun to watch. The gym members remind me of the oddball apartment tenants in Vincenzo. I'd love to go eat comfort food after Zumba with the Ajumma Gang lol. For a kdrama, I'm impressed at their approach to fitness and nutrition. It's not perfect, but it's decent, and I understand the comedic element. That little sister is something else.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I know FL is tired of her and her pet boyfriend with his messy self!

Until you've experienced being overweight and ridiculed for it, you can't really say for certain how you may feel or react. There are those who are normal weight and may be around toxic relatives who constantly critique them on their bodies. Being mistreated can weigh heavily on a person's mind and cause a lot of anguish. Some people may not be bullied at all but because of societal norms may feel pressure to look a certain way due to being bombarded by TV, movies, ads, and various products pushed on consumers that encourage thinness and othering. There may be some visitors on this page who have experienced one of these scenarios. While it's important not to care what others think, it's often easier said than done, especially when you're in the situation. Personal experience, trauma, personality, etc. all have an impact on how a person may think, feel, or behave regarding a particular situation. Just thought I'd share my two cents.โค๏ธ

Since Oh My Venus, I've been waiting for another fitness drama. Hopefully it's good all the way through to the end and doesn't lose it's focus midway with distractions. FL lifting weights instead of just burning away muscle on a cardio machine gives me hope that exercise will be depicted in a healthy, balanced way. In a world of sweet potato crash diets, let's hope she's getting high protein, nourishing meals and a treat from time to time.

Note: If this kind of drama is triggering for you, you have every right to drop it without shame or explanation. Dramas are supposed to be a positive experience, a fun escape, not a detriment to your mental health or peace! Take care of yourselves.๐Ÿ’– There are plenty of other dramas to enjoy!

you know usually villains have some motive behind their actions but this bitch was just straight up evil, hurting…
It was pride and insecurity. She had an unstable, controlling mother with a greedy heart. Her upbringing created the monster inside her. Look at how sweet and thoughtful of others her young daughter was. She became disgusted with her mother when she learned about how she had treated her"friends." She still had her innocence. Yeon Jin lost her innocence early due to her opportunistic mother who dragged her to shamans and never took accountability or held her daughter to account. Her mother raised a vicious bully. Bullies are made, not born.

I hope we get more stories like this. When I first got into Korean dramas too long ago, I was all about the romance dramas with handsome leads. Obviously, as I grew up, I began to fall in love with these complex stories led by a strong female cast. SHK was truly a master in this series, and the male characters complimented her as supporting roles. The writers shined the spotlight on the women, illuminating the good, the bad, and the ugly. We saw many sides, and it was done in a way that didn't vilify the gender but exposed how a person's character can become corrupted and cause irreparable harm to others and themselves. Brava!

I watched this during the pandemic and just saw it's still on my Netflix playlist from that time. The plot seems more true to life than most stories that depict meeting your celebrity crush. Some scenes were quite jarring as well. If I recall, both FL and ML were odd birds.
On Talentless Takano Mar 31, 2025
I'm on episode 7. I appreciate odd comedy, so it's been a fun ride. Takano is actually quite clever. She uses her unique charms where it counts and coasts on company time, essentially being paid to have fun watching cat videos. If anything, she's quite scary lol. I like Nanao playing a different character, but this one is still in the same vain of being "chic." I hope she takes on more diverse and challenging roles in the future. She's my favorite actress after Fukada Kyoko.

This would be my issue, as well. It is hard to connect with Du Zhi. I am trying to do just that. However, the…
You assessed the issue perfectly. The script is incredibly limited. I understand the trope of the cold male lead, but when written well, they still have thoughts, opinions, and feelings. Yi Qing started out guarded, but he still expressed emotion and wrestled with internal conflict. Jing He didn't witness it all, but the viewer saw in Yi Qing's alone time how he truly feels. All we see from Du Zhi is irritation and sneak-watching Wang Zhan's uploads. I still don't understand his motive. It's implied, but I'm not seeing it expressed. To me, he looks like he needed a job rather than wanting to be close to Wang Zhan. Then they have these "moments" together and he's right back to treating Wang Zhan like a pest.
On Exclusive Love Mar 22, 2025
Can we start the series over and replace Du Zhi with Ian and make Jing He and Yi Qing the main couple?๐Ÿ˜… Ian brings life to the non-existent main plot. He reminds me of Jack in History 3: Trapped. I don't understand the appeal of dry men. Being a serious person is one thing, but being dry is another. I can't tell if Du Zhi is written dry or portrayed dry. He has zero appeal or personality. He's too robotic. Even ChatGPT is engaging! Jing He and Yi Qing are carrying this story. Their plot actually connects and progresses. The sweet friendship and chest-tightening tension between them make them fun to watch. Jing He is really precious, although still a bit self-centered. I love the character development of Yi Qing! He's really stepping it up.

Scrolling the recs for dramas like the Glory brought me here. I've been meaning to watch this drama, but you have to be in the right mood for dramas of this nature. It's also nice watching dramas that focus on women's stories and social issues. I'm loving this drama so far, but it's definitely crazy.

FL looks like the average person in her country and she's very cute. Her features are the norm, not an outlier. The cognitive dissonance people have about looks is wild to me.

We're really going all over the place and nowhere at the same time with this script. ๐Ÿ˜…That main couple is giving white wall/white paint. I'm bored to tears. The secondary couple is interesting, but I don't like how Jing He moves. He's cute but selfish when it comes to his feelings. It's not fair to Yi Qing or You Ning. Taiwan, what happened, girl??? You were serving us hits for so long. ๐Ÿ˜ž
On Exclusive Love Mar 9, 2025
That massage was out of pocket. I believe this drama should've been about the second couple. They have decent romantic tension and good chemistry. I just hate that You Ning is in the middle. She's a strong character and deserves a plot outside of those two. The main couple's plot is unfocused and the chemistry is odd. I feel like I'm watching two different dramas.

That threw me off too lol. But then I thought about how his whole M.O. has always been self-preservation. If he was in on it, he may have wanted to ensure he wasn't associated with it or get hurt from a stray punch in the melee.๐Ÿ˜‚ He didn't help Miss Lee escape with him and he didn't call for help. Just my theory. I think what makes him such an interesting character is that he's gray like this. His character is left up to our interpretation as viewers.

Title Why Her?
I started this drama back when it aired and abandoned it after the first episode because 2022 was a fierce year with too many great dramas to choose from. I've been enjoying dramas lately of strong FLs handling business, such as the Glory. I decided to watch Why Her seriously, and I'm loving it so far. I actually prefer the romance to occur off to the side instead of being the main focus. In romance dramas, the love interest dominates every facet of the character's life, which isn't realistic. I loved how in the Glory, the revenge/justice plot took center stage and we watched FL develop, while the romance slow-burned behind the scenes. It all flowed beautifully. The romance complimented the main plot rather than overtake it. To each their own, though!

FL's wardrobe is a wonderful bonus. She has exquisite style.

Yeah, I was thinking it was more of a blind eye matter- either being paid off or terrified to get involved.

The principal was wild!๐Ÿ˜‚ I felt like it was a ruse, because he seemed callous all along and like he was just riding this thing out until he can retire comfortably with his pension. He never looked conflicted about the state of the school. Then when he wanted to smoke during his arrest, I felt like he really was in on the whole thing and thought they'd get away with it. He was always complicit without a concern. His confession seemed arrogant because he told the full truth on recording, thinking Miss Lee would get stomped out by the thugs before she could reach the police.
