Title Mr Honesty Spoiler
is there a love triangle? is it annoying.
Yup. The lady who hires her is secretly in love with ML. And FL has a "gege" from her past who she has been looking for. I didn't really find the love triangle annoying between ML, FL, and SL, but I didn't like the second female lead. She became annoying in the second half.

Haha, the gif under Spoilers is spot on accurate. You've pretty much summed up the whole experience. :D My biggest fear is jinxing the drama by praising it early or hyping it up. I'm afraid it will then end up going down hill toward the end and have a crappy ending.

I usually avoid fan theories, but I find it interesting you mention it ruins the drama if you read too many. They're addicting, but I can see how they ruin the element of surprise. It sucks when a scenario is written way better than what actually happens.

Well, well, well. Guess who finally matured? It only took 14 episodes, the death of his parents, a divorce, and a miscarriage for him to do so. I did not pity him one bit, but maybe I will like him in the last 2 episodes.

Title Was It Love? Spoiler
I'm just really annoyed that no one really got punished. Ryu Jin's petty ex manager blasted that news at the end and totally got away with it. And what about Producer Wang? He ran off with the bank book and they never concluded that story??? Did I miss something? Didn't the ex manager have something to do with deceiving him? Also, after all that effort, they just decided to scrap the project and turn into another movie. WTH. How does that make FL an amazing sought after producer?

Out of the ones I've seen from your list, I really liked Maturot Lohgan, The Crown Princess, and My Husband in Law (though Maturot Lohgan was more of a forced marriage kind of situation, but she did runaway from an arranged marriage). I added Jao Sao Chang Yon to my list. Thanks. ^^

What remake?
It's not a remake, but I was wondering if it was because the synopsis was slightly different than the actual drama. Turns out, this director directed many popular Taiwanese dramas like Prince Turns to Frog, which is why I was getting very similar vibes. Some of it was even filmed in Taiwan.

It's technically a well made drama, but I found it to be too slow paced and depressing af. It's not something I'd recommend unless you're into that kind of stuff.

Loved him in Gank Your Heart (and obviously The Untamed). I just realized I haven't seen any of the movies he's been in. D:

It's pretty good for an older drama. It sort of gave me a Taiwanese drama vibe (and not just for the cast). Also, is this drama a remake of something else? The synopsis is a bit off. Yi Fan is not a taekwondo instructor, although he did practice in the past, nor did he meet Dong Dong as as his student.

FYI - It's 32 episodes on Viki.

Cute article, but a small correction-- someone over at d-addicts did sub the last 4 eps of Blanket Cats earlier…
OMG, that's so exciting to hear! Thanks for the update. :)

I avoid sad endings like a plague. Some of these I've seen and were not as tragic as I thought they were going to be or at least, they did a good job of mentally preparing myself for the ending. I don't consider open endings as sad endings. I also don't consider Hotel Del Luna that sad of an ending because it's what she wanted all along. Scarlet Heart (original) broke my heart ;(, but at least I was mentally prepared for Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

There's also the HK drama: When a dog loves a cat.
I did not know about that one, but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

Thank you ^^ Out of this list, I think you'll like Guardian and Neko Zamurai the most.
I watched the drama first because it came out first. I'm watching in order of release date/year. I haven't seen the movie yet. ^^;; But it seems like a condensed version of season 1.

I tried Blanket Cats 1-2 years ago but only the first few eps got subbed :(I only liked Meow the Secret Boy for…
I watched Meow The Secret Cat for the cat, but I stayed for the frenemy bromance. I didn't care much about the romance/love triangle. I thought the plot was mediocre as well, but I still enjoyed it for the cat humor.
