I’m probably bias and I’m sure this drama had its flaws but I’m completely blind to them! Highly entertaining and addresses important topics that is affecting this generation overall but mainly in Japan. Family love and values are at the heart of the story despite a bit of a weird (but necessary) shift at the beginning. Characters were all silly and lovely.
I only realized later it was a Kudo Kankuro drama which explains why I found it so entertaining! Highly recommended ❤️
I like the diversity of characters also. In reality, there are all sorts of personality types, and in fictional…
For me it isn’t something personal against the female lead, it’s the overall logic of the drama that didn’t make sense, the reasoning behind decisions made were just weak which made it a weak storyline. It had nothing to do with submissiveness or feminine/masculine characters. If anything the professor pissed me off the most here but just wasn’t as often on screen lol
anyways just saying we all have different taste and doesn’t have any complicated reason behind it. And we rate based on our enjoyment
Cons: Weak storyline Superficial dialogues Draggy direction Frustrating characters
There aren’t any evil characters here just criminally dumb ones, like Yuri the FM, Min Hana her korean counterpart, oh and ESPECIALLY the so called professor and ML ex-boss/father figure. All 3 characters ignored the ML’s will and treated him like a child when he showed more maturity than all.
Not wanting female doormat in dramas doesn’t mean we want to see male characters treated this way.
LOL so if anyone is submissive in this drama it would be the ML. She’s just weak and keeps running away from…
why is strong = masculine? Being weak is being childish and not facing our own responsibilities. It’s expecting others to pick up after us when wess up. It’s just not logical that she’s a CEO of a company yet so incapable of doing anything not even think of solutions. Even the event that led to getting her power is so dumb lol and her dad had to pay the ultimate price.
And both male leads having to put up with her indecisiveness. That has nothing to do with being feminine or masculine, and everything to do with being a child vs an adult.
I get you back after all this time lol is she give her ex a chance and just run from her husband? and he just…
My issue with her character was that she was treating her husband badly in general so I don’t disagree with you, just that I find the way the character of the Ex was used was well done. I think she does end up remembering but I’m not sure

So the ex thing was annoying only because her brother was conspiring and putting them all in awkward situation. There were instances her actions made the ML uncomfortable but it was minimal because both her and the ex had moved on from each other, but the ex was more like a friend she needed to talk to from a time she understood herself better.
I mean people don’t retire until they’re in their 60s so there’s nothing wrong to keep teaching in their 50s. And there’s nothing wrong with aging a character and imagining how they would be. Aging is a part of life anyways.
It’s at the same level of the first season though I don’t have much sympathy to the “client” here. Like why wait until things are this bad to get help? His reasoning wasn’t logical.
I could actually say the same with a lot of characters here, especially the main antagonist. His hate so far is so misplaced and overdone. Also his assistant or wtv, like he didn’t actually do her much of a favour for her to stick by him so much. And the new competition who’s being introduced the next season, like why was he in the state he’s in here?
Predictable and stereotypically bland characters, acting didn't impress in any way, yet... Why did I enjoy it so much? I looked so much forward to watching an episode every day.
Somehow Yamapi's lack of talent worked pretty well here, and I looked forward to seeing what he would be blurbing every episode. The possibility of romance was a bit cute midway but it got too creepy by the last third of the drama so I'm glad how it went in the end. It's interesting to learn about real estate in Japan. In some ways, it's so different from the West, but real estate agents are all the same. I know a few, and those that are honest don't make as much.
I only started this cuz I thought it was 5 episodes long and I like Nakagawa Taishi but now I realized it’s 10 episodes but 5 haven’t been released yet 😒 I’ll probably finish to see how it goes but the story definitely isn’t worth 10 hours of my time. I love the actress playing the female lead but her character is a complete idiot who’s only beaten in idiocy by the male lead’s teacher.
For me Joseph Chang's portrayal of a high functioning ASD individual was pretty good. One of the best IMO. I also…
Yes I loved his performance! And Tiffany Hsu’s character when she hits a certain point of growth really becomes his contrast. I enjoyed both their growth throughout the drama
idk how I feel so far about the portrayal of ASD :/ seems very stereotypical and missing nuance and subtlety.…
i wouldn’t say stereotypical. In some ways it is, in others it’s the most nuance I’ve seen in a long time. I think he’s also been given a personality beyond the ASD aspect and far from the “savant syndrome” stereotype. He’s also living an independent life.

My only complaint is that it’s over :(

Still looking forward for the 2nd season :)
