I forgot to mention that though the person may seem to be the same they are not because they are a replica of the same person in a new reality, so the memory can't be etched in the replica's mind.

HA HA Yes what you have said made sense in a way.
Lets consider however, I am looking at memories as a part of the subjective process of recalling what is stored in the mind. I am assuming that time is uniquely singular, meaning it can only exist in the exact same way once; any revisiting of that time thereafter, is similar to a replica of the same event, which makes for a different reality, or a new time/space continuum is created if we go 'back in time' because something changed. If we accept that different worlds (or parallel universes) are created then the 'memories' or recalling of what happened will be specific to the new reality and not recalled from another reality; it can not happen, because it belongs to a different 'world', so to speak because 'time' is singular and can't be repeated. LOL
Makes sense or no sense XD

XD I'll admit to bias for QIHM so I threw out all sense of objectivity and logic in order to continue liking the drama LOL. I guess the theory of time travel is what makes dramas that use this device so interesting. My issue here is when Sun Woo first went back, I thought it strange that his friend had also remembered the events when he did not do any time travel; the same goes for Min Young; how could she recall memories from a different reality which should have been erased? It makes sense to me that memories are a snap shot of a moment in time, so if the time was changed how do you recall it? I would have thought if you change actions in the past that has a catalyst effect and should theoretically erase 'what was' to form the new reality. Maybe I could concede that the traveler would still remember but not a non traveler.
Another issue for me was the his past was able to cross the timeline and communicate with him without activating a time device, so why couldn't Sun Woo do likewise? Not that it made sense that his past should be able to write him instant messages.
In any event I'm long past my issue with this as I'm sticking with suspension of disbelief and cognitive distance, since I want to continue enjoying the drama, which I really like very much.

The night that he finds out his brother killed his father, and that his brother is not his father's son, and that his mother was at the scene.....I'm now on ep 8....loving this so far, despite the crazy jumps in time zones :) I have the opposite reaction than you did when I compare it to the time jumps in Queen In Hyun's Man...ha ha

Hi MLSL, sorry I'm only now replying as I have not been on MDL all day. I'm only in ep 7, so it's hard to determine who the villain is....I'm not convinced that the old Doc. is the guilty person, but rather suspect the 'dead' brother. I pissed off that Sun Woo's carelessness has resulted in his split from Min Young as I really liked them as a couple, and think they are meant to be * sigh*; and yet, he doesn't learn and keeps messing with Father Time and trying to play God (albeit in the name of Justice) !! As the saying goes be careful when digging a grave for one, dig two! He had better correct things and make it right so that Min Young does not marry that fop of a newsman :) But how have you been today...all good?

I LOVED PM and very much enjoyed CH. Haven't seen LP yet but I think it's on my list. I added The Servant which you gave a 10, and it actually sounds like it's up my alley. Also added Chunhyang which was recommended to watch before watching The Servant.

My Lady, I have now reached the part where it is revealed *_* You made a comment about the handling of the time travel in this drama. I'm in ep. 4 but the question I have is, he seems to assume he can change events without causing a catalyst of other changes. I'm watching the part where he talks about fulfilling his brother's wish to save his father and then to get himself examined. He is rather casual with his 'time machine' and I pray he is able to keep it safe and hope his friend whom he shared the secret with does not turn selfish or greedy. I love him and Joo Min Young together, esp. their romance. I really hope they make it :)

XD LOL You're quite right ^_^; it's already posted. Actually no good kisses as in hot and sexy, it was mainly comical. What you think about Kim Hyun Joong's new drama coming up ' Generation of Youth? I'm a fan of his so he just needs to be in it! LOL

I know but it was one of those on first glance it looks like a goofy and silly drama but it is one of those simple but very well done pieces of work. So I was a bit unsure if I would do it justice. :-D but thanks for the thumbs up

Happy New Year!! I really enjoyed the article and the drama; like you I dismissed the flaws as they were not as glaring or irritating as some I have experienced and I was too biased to care XD Love Feng.
