LOVED the Princess' Man. I have Nine Times on my PTW but I'm watching Heartless City next...I've been saving up for that :-D BTW population here is total of 300,000 last census, so the 107 per capita is far too high. I can understand how shock and horror can distract one from blues ha ha whatever works. I see we share similar traits, discipline issues...I still struggle with that. Unfortunately some of my best work is under time pressure, because then I become very ruthless with my decision making and very much focussed...:-D If you ever decide to give poor Ms. Ha Ji Won a half chance you should try King 2 Hearts ha ha

Ha ha I forgot you are not a 'Ha Ji Won' fan :-D Funny about not finding the lead actor, Lee Seung Gi, attractive. I too had the very same reaction and in fact that is partly why I wasn't so keen on watching it. However after I watched Gu, I came to not only like him as a fine actor, but also his looks grew on me. Now I find him very attractive and charismatic...strange that but true. LOL I guess this is what they mean by character is attractive ...his characters were very attractive men and he played them so well I've become a fan. XD

HA HA Mrs LSJ, I just read your review of 'Dream Affection' :-D ....I can see you were 'affected' in not such a good way LOL. I really laughed out at "if she has any talent we don't get to see it considering the lack of a plot and the director's obsession with her breasts"...thanks I think I will avoid this. LOL

Mrs LSJ how's it going? I see you've completed 'Hear Me' and you have it listed as your first Taiwanese movie, so were you re-watching it? Is it that good? I have that on my PTW list, and I am hoping it's a decent watch. I also note you have The Chrysalis on your list, and as I watched so it will be interesting to hear what you make of it. I'm almost finished watching 'King 2 Hearts', which I had put off watching for sometime; only because I had enjoyed Gu Family Book and Lee Seung Gi's role did I decide to go back and pick up King 2. I don't regret it and I'm enjoying it very much....I absolutely love the romance and chemistry between the two leads and the two secondary leads. I notice this is not on your list, how come as it seems to be a favorite and highly liked romance drama?

BTW Asia draws closer LOL for real my PM made mention of it again to me yesterday and my former Ministry wrote to ask me about my last dip posting:-D; seems like progress to me.

I enjoyed this movie which had some very touching moments. Having said that, I must say however that I totally agree with other commentators who thought it seemed rushed and should have been a drama where the pace and development of the storyline would have been better served. I thought the acting was great, by the way. I would recommend it as a good romance and good watch.

There's something very unsavory about someone acting as their mother's pimp...... not sure 'bout this.

:-) Sorry Secret, I didn't realize I had not named the drama; it's a Japanese drama called 'My Girl', starring Aiba Masaki and child actress Ishii Momoka. After this I'll probably watch Gu Family Book...feel the need for some fantasy.

Hi SecretSoul, thanks for the name of the drama 'Devil'. I've watched only a couple of Uhm Tae Woong's films Resurrection and Delightful Girl, Choon Hyang. He was a good actor but he didn't grab me much, so maybe I'll give Devil a go and see if that changes. I'm currently watching another Japanese 'life drama', and while the pace is a bit slow and my natural impatience has me getting impatient with the young father I am enjoying the story; I love the child actress in this drama. I see you are watching Gye Baek, amongst other!

I didn't know there was a Korean counter to Maou...interesting. I will look into Yakou. My P.S. Partner was hilarious and exactly what I needed after that sad movie. Best of all for me, was that it is a mature comedy; but be warned, there are one or two nude scenes and some raw talk, so if that bothers you then avoid it. For me it was great and I thought Ji Sung did an excellent job, I really liked his character's vulnerability in this.
